We are traveling with grandparents, and one of them has a bad back and can't share the queen bed (and the bed can't be separated on the Fantasy). How do I know which rooms have the pull down wall bed, since I don't think they should be on the pull down bunk and they will want to have the sofa to sit on in the evening (we have early dinner)? We are in category 4A, rooms 9076, 9078, 9080, 9082.

Thank you!

Search for cabins that sleep 5 people. Those will have a pull down murphy bed. Just so you know, that bed is very low to the ground. The top of the mattress is well below my knees and doesn't have a box spring.

Also with the murphy bed down, it blocks the balcony doors some. You can still get out there but it's a PITA and I banged my ankles on the bed multiple times.

So for an 80 year old who is mobile, would you recommend the murphy bed or converting the couch into a bed?

He/she could ask the stateroom host to make both to try. My ds16 has been too tall for the sofa bed for a couple years. The murphy bed is a regular twin size mattress.

Just wanted to mention that it is very easy to flip the couch over for sleeping. Most nights our son watches a movie or the show in the cabin after dinner. We have learned to request that the bed be left as a couch and just flip it when he is ready to sleep.
