Disney Fantasy Server Recommendation (for Oct 2016 sailing)

We are sailing on the Disney Fantasy in late October 2016 and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for great servers?

We (me and DH) will be travelling with two children aged 10 and 13, plus the grandparents.

I would especially love to hear if you have had a wonderful server from Bulgaria. My MIL has just gotten very interested in her Bulgarian heritage and it would just be the icing on (the already wonderful) cake to have someone that she could talk with about Bulgaria.

A Bulgarian server would be great but it would be most important to have a great and accommodating server, so all recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you don't get any traction here, check out some of the posts people have on the trip reports section of the cruise forum. Many times people will say who their servers were and how much they liked them. You can always call DCL Reservations and have a note added to your reservation about the request to have someone from Bulgaria. Happy cruising!

We have had many great servers but none that I recall from Bulgaria. I would call DCL and see if they can accommodate that request for you.

Here are a few of our most memorable teams over the years of crusing on the Fantasy.
November 2013: Rakeesh (India) and Jocelyn (Phillipines)
September 2014 : Irina (Ukaraine) and Ameilia (Jamaica)
April 2015 : Names escape me, but they were both from Phillipines.
September 2015: Ian ( South Africa) and Saami (India)
January 2016: Alex (Phillipines) I cannot remember for sure the name of our Asst server, but he was very sweet and funny. And he was from India.

We've had Gavin from Barbados on both of our Fantasy cruises and love, love, love him!!!! I requested him again for our 10/15/16 cruise. Hopefully he is there since DS9 loves him and he knows how picky DS is.

We are sailing on the Disney Fantasy in late October 2016 and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for great servers?

Last march, we had Nicola as main server on the Fantasy. He's from Serbia if my memory serves me right. He was the best server we've had on any cruise. When we noticed he never was at Cabanas or at Castaway Cay during the day, our assistant waiter explained that he was a "platinum" server (or some other term) and that his other task was to train other servers. We'll request him next time.

We LOVED Marlon (she was from Philippines). She was with Leo (Argentina) as assistant server but not sure if he came back from his break. She was just amazing!

Me and my Family loved Andriana. She was from Croatia. As for are assistant server his name from Ari (Indonesia) we liked him too just not as much as Andriana

We absolutely LOVED our servers Alfonso (Mexico) and Leonnie (Jamaica). We will definitely request these two pairs again next time we sail on the Fantasy. They made our dd5 feel so special and all four of us bonded with them and consider them family now. Our dd and Leonnie would goof off together when we saw her working in Cabanas for breakfast and lunches. It was so great to consider her our friend.

We have had Sheree from the Philippines 4 times now, most recently 4 weeks ago, and we just adore her! She has been more than accommodating with our DS's peanut allergy and on this last cruise he also had to eat gluten free. She was spot on with what he could have, getting him anything he wanted, and telling him where/how to get gluten free food at other spots on the ship and CC. Not only does she know her stuff, but she is a bundle of energy and so much fun!

She was with Sudi from Indonesia on this cruise but I don't believe the servers always keep the same assistants. He was good too but I will be requesting Sheree as our first choice next year again.

We just sailed on the Fantasy last week. We had Cristian from Romania and Michele from Italy. I absolutely loved them! My 14 month old daughter loves berries (any kind!) and when Cristian found out he made sure to bring her two bowls each night - one for dinner, the other for next day's breakfast - because you couldn't find berries anywhere else on the ship.

I don't have anyone from Bulgaria, but I would highly recommend Ningreishang (Ashang) Kangoo from India. We have had him three times and have requested him for our next cruise as well. I am sure everyone else in this thread feels the same way about their servers, but I doubt you will find a friendlier and harder-working server on the ship than Ashang.
