Disney Fantasy... princess gathering and Ana and Elsa tickets question

I was on the Fantasy the last week in April this year and got onboard around noon. Went straight to the line for these tickets and the line was long, wrapped around to near the BBB entrance. Waited maybe 30 min. Got tickets for the first sea day for 1p princess first then 2p for Elsa/Anna. Princess is in the Atrium, E/A in AP. They had staggered times for these events. I'm thinking that if you don't care for these events to happen early in your sailing, you don't need to wait in the long line early. I'd like to hear from someone on my sailing who had princess & E/A tickets for the last sea day and see when they got their tickets, to compare...

So I hadn't been on a cruise in a year? So you have to have tickets to all character meet and greets??? Please give me more details . Where do you get tickets? Do you buy them? Thanks so much

Not all the meet and greets. In order to space out the crowds, they have started distributing tickets for the Elsa and Anna meet and greet and the Princess Gathering. I believe some cruises are also distributing tickets for the Disney Jr. characters, but that is more rare. There is no cost to get the tickets. There will be a blurb on the front page of the Navigator you get on embarkation day that tells you where and when to get tickets. It is usually (but not always) at the Port Adventures desk from 11:30-3:00 on embarkation day.

We were on the Fantasy at the end of March and had both Anna and Elsa. Maybe Anna was sick that day?
They only advertised it as meeting Queen Elsa. I don't think Anna was on the ship at all.

I find this so weird. Just Elsa? Why?

I am guessing Anna missed the ship or something.

Sometimes Elsa has to return to her kingdom to handle some problems.

LOL. Anna must have been busy in Arendelle with something.

Lisa do you know when this was? My daughter would love to meet the both of them esp. after a nightmare September of last year when we waited for almost 2 hours in Disney and they closed the line on us. Many people I know are going right away when they board.. is there a sign or do you have to ask someone? Thanks for your help :)

Our cruise was May 9. It was in the Navigators that they give you at the port. I believe we had to go to the port adventures desk. I know it was on 5, because DH and DD went to get her kids club bracelet while I waited in line.
How long was the line to get tickets? We have a 10:30 PAT so we should be in one of the earlier boarding groups. I was thinking of heading to the Port Adventures desk (or wherever the ticket distribution is listed in the Navigator) before heading up to Cabanas to get lunch. But then I've read reports of very long lines and was wondering if the lines were that long so early after boarding.

It was probably about 15 minutes, give or take. It could have been 20. There were maybe 10-15 families in front of me.

We had an early PAT and were in boarding group 2. We went to deck 5 before lunch. DH and DD went to kids club to get bracelet while I waited in line for tickets. I was done before they got back.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'll likely head to get tickets first thing, then go to lunch.

Just returned from a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy! Only Elsa was on the ship, no Anna. The Tickets to meet Queen Elsa in the Animators Palate and the Princess Gathering can be found in Port adventures. Let me know if you have any questions!

Could I ask what goes on at the Princess gathering and Anna and Elsa meet and greet events? What ages are these events geared for? Thanks.

It's basically a meet and greet. You line up and visit/get pictures/talk with the featured character(s).

Can someone tell me what the tickets look like? I know its an odd question, but we have 2 tickets to these meet and greets for our stateroom, but i want to give one of the tickets to my friend so us ladies can go see the princesses! Do they have names on them? Will they question that its a males name when my friend shows up with me?

Im having trouble securing my traveling stateroom into the meet and greet which is why im asking
