Disney Fantasy ~ October 4, 2014 ~ Eastern Caribbean

We are so excited!! We have had this trip booked for over a year. Just finding all this cool stuff and can't wait to be apart of all of this! Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated! We have a large family group traveling together. We want to do the fish extenders if possible.:yay:

Welcome! If you are on Facebook, we have a cruise group on there that is more active. We still have one Fish Extender group still open if you'd like to join. I just need your cabin number, family name, first names of everyone in your group, ages and genders of kids, favorite characters (optional). You can PM that info to me on here, or put it in the pinned post on the Facebook page. Right now we have 6 families in this FE group are we will keep it open for new members up to 2 weeks prior to sailing.

Welcome again!

We have 4 FE groups that are closed and we are working on filling up the 5th group! Let me know if you'd like to join. You can give me your details here, or on the FB group. I just need your names, cabin number, ages of anyone under 18, favorite characters (optional).

Awesome. Just requested. Access to the Rockin the Docks group! Should I also add to the google spreadsheet too?

It's getting close...38 days! So anxious and can't concentrate on work lol :yay: Still trying to figure out the process for ordering magnets for our cabin door. Seems a little complicated...

Got my cruise docs in the mail yesterday. The cruise is just over a month away!!! :cool1:

Hi all.

Im very excited and a bit nervous. This is my first post on DisBoards and my first cruise. I am travelling with my hubby, 3 Daughters aged 7, 10, 12 along with my brother and my niece, aged 6.
We are travelling from Australia and have no idea what to expect. Everything I read sounds more and more exciting!
I have no idea what FE are, but sounds like fun. I will google away and if it's not too late would love to join? I have tried joinging the FB group.

Looking forward to experiencing the magic of Disney out at sea!

Welcome! We are still taking sign-ups for the FE. Just let me know if you'd like to join.

my first planned breakfast Frosted Flakes. I never buy them for home only get them while on the DCL. Looking forward to ocean, sun and yes cereal. My friends call me crazy.

Hi. We're interested in joining the fish exchange. We will have 2 rooms for our family of 6, and though this is our 3rd Disney Cruise, this is the first time we've heard of the fish exchange.
Our ages and names are below:
Tom & Alicia (parents)
Evelyn, 9
Jane, 7
George, 5
Fritz, 3
We did IGT rates, so we don't know our room numbers yet. Should we post them once we know?

Hi cruisers.
The roll call spreadsheet can be requested via PM to anyone in our group who may need it.

See you onboard!

Hi everyone! Our 5th and last FE group is almost at capacity. It will close when we have 20 cabins or 2 weeks prior to sailing, whichever comes first. We have room for 4 more cabins at this time. If you'd like to join this FE group, please let me know! Also, if you are not on FB and you want to see the Goofy FE list, please let me know and I will PM it to you through the DIS boards. Thanks!

EDIT: Hi again...did some research and think I can manage this! Would you please add us to the list? We do not have an assigned stateroom as yet, so I will have to provide this at a later date. Thanks!

Hi there...been hemming and hawing about signing up for FE. First cruise and unsure of what it entails...really unsure of the logistics of it all. Do you have one day you are assigned to distribute and where do you get an FE (or do you make it? I am mildly crafty and certainly know my way around a glue gun.) Traveling from Niagara so need to be somewhat conscious about suitcase space and weight. I don't want to miss out and don't want to sign up without being sure what I'm signing up for!

(First posted on your Visitor page, Miss Daisy, thinking I was sending a PM, edited that post and then forgot how to send a PM...day before school starts and I am doing 12 things at once!)

Hi Disneydreamgirl! We are not assigning delivery dates in our FE groups, so you can deliver any time during the cruise. The only guideline is to deliver something to each cabin once during the cruise. It could be one gift for the entire cabin to share, or one gift per person. Gifts ideas include something from your home state, Disney stuff, pirate stuff, crafty stuff, movie theatre candy, gum, glow sticks, magnets, etc.

As far as suitcase space goes....it really depends on what you give out, and how much of what you receive you take home vs. consume on the ship. I usually try to give out smaller-space items and also divvy up our gifts among the kids' backpacks for our return home.

Some people make an FE holder, and you can also order them from Ebay or Etsy. The ones you order usually take a while to make and might not be ready before our sailing. However, some people make one using a hanging organizer found at IKEA or similar stores. I've even seen people just hang a reuseable grocery bag from the FE hook. It doesn't have to be fancy.

Let me know if you decide to sign up!
