Disney Fantasy November 2021

We're on the Fantasy in September. Trying NOT to be optimistic, in case, if that makes sense. Hopefully if we have to rebook, we can rebook around the same time next year.

Good luck to all of us waiting to sail. Not to mention- the crew. One of our former dining crew is a facebook friend, and I know he and his family have been hurting financially these long months. He can't wait to get back, he told me.

NYE cruise out of Galveston is on our schedule. I think it will most likely go... but, I want to hear/see what things will be like. Some modifications are fine by us. Too much, I will wait. We just did WDW with the relaxed mask policy-wearing them only when indoors or in line. It was ok. We aren't anit-mask. But it wasn't great either. Off, then on. People needing to be reminded. It was fine, but just ok. In a state that the mask mandate has recently been dropped for vaccinated people, I must admit, I enjoy not wearing it. But I wear one when required by a business etc. Our family is fully vaxxed, some of us had covid. When I spend the $$$ for this cruise, I want it to be fun, with as little of a reminder of what we have all been through. I am not sure how happy I would be to go back to wearing a mask full time, on my cruise after having a taste of not having to wear one full time anymore. I want to be able to relax, like I used to on our cruises. We shall see. I think everyone has a comfort level that they need to find.

This is how we feel. It just feels unnatural to wear a mask on a cruise! Hopefully we’ll only have to deal with some mods.

Nothing beats watching the wake from the ship and leaving the world behind - I can actually feel the stress melt away. None of the potential restrictions we’ve heard rumors about changes that for me.

Honestly I feel this too though! The hard part for us is keeping a mask on our (just turned yesterday) 3 year old. The struggle is real with that one.

We are also on the cruise before you, 10/30 to 11/6. This week I finally found an accessible cabin on deck 6 for us.
We waited months for a HC cabin. We have had three cancelled cruises so we hope this one sails along with
your 11/6 cruise on the Fantasy. Ive had to change my airfare at least 3 times already with United.

We are booked on the Fantasy 9/25, 12/19 and 12/26. I agree with the others that I don't want too much of a reduced experience. I'm no terribly optimistic about September, but I sure hope by Christmas things will be back to something close to normal.

I’m just wondering if the amount my of people already booked will ultimately affect the possibility of sailing. Like, they can only have a certain capacity. We shall see!

We too are on the Nov 6-11 Fantasy Double Dip sailing. We too have a GTY room. The one thing I have been waiting and watching is for someone to post their GTY room has been assigned...that will be the Hallelujah moment for me! So long in coming, but I am felling positive we are there. This will put me at Platinum too so I am really excited to sail again and I was one of the lucky ones to have said in 2020 (SWDAS Jan 2020)!!

We didn’t get to sail, but we were in WDW January 2020 before it all went down! I consider myself lucky for that as well. We haven’t been able to make it back. If this cruise is cancelled though, it might have to be the backup! My withdraws have really set in.

Hi - so I was interested in the Fantasy cruise in September but have a few questions. I suspect many probably have the same and there is no new info out yet but I'll ask anyways to see if someone can help.

1) Will Disney require vaccination for anyone 12 to 16/18?
a. If vaccination is required for let's say 12 and older, if we are not comfortable with that policy then will be able to cancel for refund?
2) If I add the insurance to the booking and if we cancel due to some COVID policy or Disney cancels does that insurance purchase still get refunded?
3) The ports in the Caribbean all seem to require PCR testing at this point and i think some only will allow fully vaccinated folks. If children (12 and under) aren't vaccinated then will entry not be allowed? Do we just stay on the ship?

I'm sorry for all these questions where I think we are waiting on more news/clarity but wanted to see if I book now whether I am basically committing a large purchase with the unknowns or if Disney will be flexible for refunds/etc. or their only flexibility will be push out your dates or issue credit for future use.

Supposed to be cruising on the Fantasy Nov 14th. Fingers crossed, I think it's 4th time rescheduling. Hope for the best!
