I am very sad to have to leave this group. Our family has decided to shorten the cruise portion of our vacation and switch to the Dream for a 4 night cruise ... I was so looking forward to meeting everybody and was really excited about the candy exchange.

You will be missed!

Hi dee ho there gang! Just back from the DVC Member cruise to Alaska! Wow, what a fabulous trip...now we are counting down to September when we head to DL for Labor Day weekend (race weekend), then a bunch of short, non-Disney trips for a wedding, Sedona for Thanksgiving, home for Christmas (and a friend's 50th), THEN we can get excited about this trip, LOL!!

Has anyone looked at the various booking dates for excursions, etc yet? Or for that matter, is anything out there for Tortola? I confess, I haven't had time to look yet...

I'll bet Alaska was fabulous! We want to go there in 2017.

I haven't heard that Tortola excursions are out yet...I'm sure we'll hear some buzz about it on the boards when it happens.

My cousin was on DVC cruise and is coming home today. She e-mailed how wonderful the experience was. I can't wait to see her and learn more about it.

I'm the boyfriend. I'm soooooo excited to sail with Disney. It will be my first cruise ever. We've having a Disney movie marathon (watching 4ish movies each month) counting down to the cruise.

Anyone else planning on running the Castaway Cay 5K?

Awesome! I'm a little nervous about what the weather will be like but hopefully it won't be too bad in January. Luckily running in this weather we're having right now in North Carolina should prepare me.
Hopefully there is a good group of characters waiting at the finish line for us, that's probably what I'm most excited about.

Yeah, the last time we ran it, it was HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT! We've been at Castaway in December a few times, it can be hot, or it can be pretty cold. No way to know until we get closer. That said, no idea if we will have characters, they didn't do that last time we ran it, which was in Oct 2013. I know the medals are cooler now! That's what is making us more excited!

I ran the CC5k in 2012. It was fun! We had Goofy meet us on the dock before the race for a big group photo.

Yay! I love that we have so many fit folks in this group! Eric and I usually try to run 2-3 times during a week-long cruise. Deck 4 is our preference for sea days...and of course, the CC5K will be our last "hoorah" run. We plan on eating our way thorugh this cruise, just like way always do!! Wheeeeeeeee!

My surgery was April 24! I had both knees done, because neither one would have worked as a "good" knee. Looking forward to meeting you!
