Disney Fantasy, August 18, 2012 - Western Caribbean

Ok, I'm happy and I'm disappointed. Got most of what I wanted to book. Missed out on a cabana at Castaway Cay. Also missed the Pirates League as could only get 5:30pm which clashes with dinner. The other thing I couldn't get was the couples massage. Only time available on either at sea day was 8am or 8 and 9pm. I will keep an eye on them though and maybe something will come up.
On the happy side, got Palo brunch and dinner as well as all the excursions we wanted.

do you have been able to book tours?

how much money the couples massage?

what is the pirate league?: Confused3
thanks

Yes today was our 90 days before departure.

The couples massage is $242.00. A single massage is just less than half that.

The pirates league is the salon that does the childrens hair and makeup to make them look like pirates. On days other than pirate day it does princess makeovers.

I'm starting to get veryt frustrated with the online checkin. I've been trying for nearly 30minutes and can't get past the first page.

Hi everyone! Just popping in at "the last minute" to say hello. Well, it feels like the last minute because I have had this cruise booked since January 2011. It will be me (40), my husband(40), and my sister(43). This is my sister's first cruise, while my husband and I have done 3 prior.

We booked our stuff last night, as PrincessBelle39 did. I booked Palo Brunch, Palo Dinner, Remy dinner, a spa treat for me, a spa treat for my sister, and the Xcaret adventure in Cozumel. In Grand Cayman we are using Native Way for a tour, and we have no plans for Costa Maya. We might just do a little shopping and stop in the Hard Rock.

To say I am excited about this cruise is an understatement. I can't wait!!

Cheers, everyone! And good luck with your 75-day bookings.

Was able to log in at 3:01am this morning to book our port arrival time. Got one of the excursions out of the way (still can't decide what other excursions to do).
The process went very quickly. Didn't book anything else but got sidetracked looking to see what was still available at Palo, Remy, Spa and BBB. Not surprised to see that all the cabanas had been booked (except for 2 in the adult area).

Was back in bed by 3:30 but unable to fall back to sleep because I'm SO EXCITED about the cruise!!!!

Hope the check-in process and booking everything went smoothly for everyone else at the 90 mark who stumbled out of bed in the middle of the night!

Hi beansf
Glad to have you join us. Sounds like you did well with your bookings last night also. It seems real now that we are actually booking excursions, dinners etc. We booked back in January 2011 also so its been a long wait.

Just wondering how dressed up everyone was getting for Pirate Night. I had originally thought of just dressing up the kids. But I've been reading past posts on the boards and it seems like quite a few adults dress up also.

We were lucky really. Bookings for us were at 2:00pm Sunday afternoon. So no getting up in the middle of the night. Check in was at 5:00pm but it did take me 1hour 40mins to check in the two cabins. I was ready to scream by the end of it. But got an 11am port arrival time which I'm happy about.

Welcome aboard! Glad to have you sailing with us, and I will add you to the cruising list. Are you going to participate in the FE exchange?

Thanks for the welcome PrincessBelle. We visited your fair country in 2009 and it remains my favorite vacation so far. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to Melbourne, but I have heard it is lovely.

Hi DVC Chris (I wish I was DVC Ann}! Thanks for inviting me but I am nowhere near organized enough for FE. :)

Hee hee...letting your sister have the kids?Just kidding...My sister's boys are 18 and 20 now. I wish they were still the adorable age that your two are.

We will be in one stateroom, so should be cozy. I warned my sis about the bathroom size because she is a toiletry junkie. I'm afraid she might take over.

Ha ha! When we talk about the cruise (me and sis) with kids around and they start acting up, my sister says, "you better watch out or I won't let you sleep in my room :rotfl2:!" We figure they'll probably split up (one in each room). We have two family oceanview rooms (adjoining) that say sleep 3-5... I think they sleep 3. I can't tell by the descriptions so we'll see! My sister will love having the bed to herself though! I doubt she'll let either of the kids share with her - she can't stand the kicking when they sleep or the fact that wind up turning sideways and shoving you to the end of the bed.

Hi everyone! I'm just joining in as well. I'll be travelling with my DH, our DD who will be 12 and our DS who is 9. This will be our second cruise. Our first was 5 years ago on the Magic and we are looking forward to cruising again.

I stayed up to make our reservations last night (this morning?). We have a dinner at Palo, Snorkel tour on Grand Cayman, Jeep tour at Costa Maya and Xel-Ha Park in Cozumel. Has anyone had brunch at Palo before? Not sure why Remy is so expensive so I opted to return to Palo.
