Disney Fantasy, August 18, 2012 - Western Caribbean

We got my husband's passport renewal yesterday in the mail! Only took 3 weeks!

Whew - glad that's done. We're all up to date now with our id's.

Jen

That was fast! It's nice having all the important documents ready to go :)

I went to visit my Mum (antmeal) yesterday and she had received her documents along with my DD's (Megan) who is in her cabin. That didn't take long at all. I guess mine arent far away. There was a card in my door on Friday from a courier so I'm guessing now that this must be the rest of our documents. I had assumed it was my Photopass Plus card from WDW. I've been tracking that and its been sitting in Melbourne since 2 July waiting to be delivered. I never imagined it would be cruise documents that had only been sent on the 9th. Hopefully the Photopass card arrives in time.

That's going to get DW squeeling when those arrive at our house.

Unfortunately we won't have our room number when they arrive, but at least I have something to look forward to now before the room is assigned. I totally forgot about the docs coming soon.

Congrats on getting yours already.

What documents should we be receiving.

I've been reading on the main Disney cruiseline forum that the day passes on the boats have been inconsistently available forcing you to buy a week long pass if you want to use it. The way around it is that you can pre-purchase daily passes on the disney cruise website. It's not in the cruise area, but in the on board gifts section. I'm thinking that I may want it for 3 days or so that would be cheaper (I think it's $15 per day or $79 for the week on the boat).

I'm not sure what to do about the Rainforest pass either although I haven't looked into it. I know I'm going to want to use it but not for the entire week. We had week long passes last time as they were included in the Romantic Escape package we bought. But we only used it twice. There were just so many other things to do onboard.

hi everyone....new to this thread but not new to the board or Disney Cruises...we (me, DW and 9YO DD) will be on this cruise, our fourth Disney cruise to date and really looking forward to it...

ours arrived on Friday- its a booklet with the luggage tags and many of the forms you can fill out prior to arriving to the port and checking in, versus filling them out at the port and spending extra time in the check in area...

Thanks for mentioning this Jen. I could see myself going at least twice but not everyday.

I have been following that thread also. I know we want to try that area and will not want/need week passes. I was planning to call this week to order the day passes. We do have a spa treatment booked, and I am wondering if you get a pass when you have a treatment since that is how many other spas operate.

This is the final list of participants for the FE List. I still need some information from a few more people. If you are one of them, please contact me with it ASAP.

Just booked 2 days for the Rainforest cost is $32, looks great I thought with all we have to do 2 days would be enough.
Getting closer can't wait.

I tried to find out - I checked mousesavers page regarding spa services on disney cruises and it didn't say you could. It did mention there's a dry sauna in the locker room you could use after treatments so I'm going to guess they would not include the rainforest room after a treatment.
