Here is a pic of my door on my Mexican Riviera cruise in Feb.

Some of the magnets I brought, some ended up as FE gifts from fellow DISers.

I Love Chris's Door. I have about 12 magnets made right now, waiting on a couple more to be be made and I know there are some more from my mom in law to be. I LOVE IT!!!! I love all these little extra things, like the FE and the big pirate night and the magnets.

Hopefully tonight. Things have been nuts for me lately, but in-laws left to go back to PA so I should have some free time.

Thanks Chris! I am excited to start putting out things together. A little worried about the suitcase situation but it will all be fun for the kids to get little treats in there FE's. Sounds like you will be ready for vacation when August 18th rolls around!

Thats so funny you mentioned the suitcase situation. I just finished making ours today and they are alittle "bulky" I might have to take one case for all these extra things were brining. LOL

We are flying from Westchester, NY ( we live in Dutchess County) and staying at the Comfort Inn (Port Canaveral). We will rent a car from MCO to get there and drive to the port the next day.

Sorry to hear about the struggles some of us had and are experiencing lately. I just lost my mom 3 1/2 months ago and some days I feel like I am still a wreck but this cruise will be great for my dad and the rest of us to take our minds off things. So really looking forward to it and now.The day to day reading of the DIS and the obsessive planning has really helped too!

When we really feel like everything is just happening to us and then we hear others and we know that we are all so much more alike then different. We all need a week just to relax and chill.

We live in Dutchess County (Stormville) flying out of Stewart and staying overnight at the econo lodge (Port Canaveral).

Sorry to hear about your loss I hope your dad can enjoy himself on board. There seems to be a lot of loss or illness among our FE group. Hope to meet you on the ship.

Our crew is flying out from Long Island. Renting a car for a one-way drop off. Going to stay a night at the new Art of Animation Resort the night before we cast off. Getting close and family is starting to get real excited.

Thats so funny, we live about 30 mins from there, but Im Corkie's daughter in law and they live in dutchess along with my sister in law going on this trip so we are going out of Stewart!!.

I couldn't find it either......

I am soooo very much looking forward to this vacation!! We are spending a week in Ft. Lauderdale before we sail!! My poor family really needs a break - 5 months ago I had a concussion - totally lost my sense of taste and smell and still have residual symptons (dizziness etc). Poor hubby and kids have been through a lot!!

But as my mother-in-law says, "If everyone hung their troubles out on the laundry line, I'll pick my own every time"!! Thank heavens it wasn't any worse!!
