:goodvibesHello everyone! Newbie here. My family and I are planning to go WDW on December 2010. That would be our Christmas vacation then going home before Christmas eve. This will be our first-time Disney adventure since I'm from Australia. We have Disneyland here but I still dream of going to Florida ever since I was a baby and my kids too are really want to go there. I have 4 kids, three girls and a boy. My youngest is 3 so this would be the best time of the year to come over there soon. Hope we'll enjoy much more than we have so many times here in our own Disney Home. If I will book my hotel reservation as early as now, would that avail me of a big discount or freebies something like that? Thanks for your advice.

lots of disney magics:lovestruc

:welcome: If you are planning on visiting in 2010, you should start planning that trip ASAP. No discounts or free dining is being offered yet for that time of year and there might not be any offered. Christmas is a very busy time to visit. If you will be wanting to eat at any table service restaurants you should start thinking of that now. You can make those reservations 180 days before your trip and people will be calling right at that 180 day mark, making some restaurants impossible to get into if you wait to long to call for ADRs. Have you decided where you want to stay? If you are considering any of the Villas, you will find those difficult to get into at this late date. Good Luck with all of your planning!!

I went to WDW last December and what magicaldisney says is true. There weren't really any specials or discounts going on when we booked our trip. The upside is, there are very little crowds! Up until the week of Christmas (hopefully you're leaving before that time) and not counting the weekends, it's generally a breeze! Also, the earlier you book, the more likely you'll get the dates and resort you want. That includes special character dining as well. Happy planning!! :wizard:

Welcome to the DIS!

You'll have the most fab time at WDW at Christmas. Best wishes with the planning, and keep us updated :)
