You can't just use an ironing board to do the transfer. The mesh holes in the iron board allow too much heat to escape. I've had good luck using my flat stove top and using a wooden cutting board on my ironing board. The directions tell you to use a wooden table but I've heard of folks damaging the finish of their table.

Thanks so much. I am glad you said that about the ironing board, I would have never thought about that. I have a wooden table that I would not have to worry about the finish. I am guessing that I could use that. We can't wait to go! Thanks again,
