Disney extravaganza on the Travel Channel, April 13

Just a friendly reminder that the Travel Channel has a block of Disney-related shows airing Tuesday, April 13.

Tuesday, April 13 (all times ET, check local listings for other time zones)

4PM Disney's Imagineers
5PM Disneyland Resort: Behind the Scenes
6PM Disney's Animal Kingdom
7PM Ultimate Walt Disney World
8PM Disney Cruise Line

I think all of these have aired previously on the Travel Channel, with the exception of the AK special. I don't think I've ever seen this before...it might be new. Do any veteran Travel Channel viewers know? My VCR is set to go.

Cant beleive Comcast has taken my travel channel off the air here in NJ............

I wrote them in Feb because I miss it...they politely apologised.

BooHoo!!! We have Comcast here and we don't get the Travel Channel. Someone post about the shows, I hate that I can't see them! I did see the WDW Unwrapped special on the Food Network though!

The Travel Channel is a mixed blessing. Here you have an entire channel devoted to travel, yet there is rarely original programming. The same shows about Disney, Vegas, Beaches, etc. have been on forever.

The one on Cruise line is very good.

I am a claustrophobic who gets seasick that is not fond of other people's small children... and I actually looked into the possibility of booking the cruise line after watching the show on Travel Channel several weeks ago.

I saw this, I am recently unemployed and this makes for a great rainy afternoon.

MarMar I feel the same way you do and your comment has me entrigued about this show.

Poor husband is at work and our VCR is connected to a very complicated system- his doing and trying to record is impossible, too bad he wont get to see AK, he doesnt get him til 7.

I better go get the grocery shopping done so I can be sitting on my couch at 4!!

I'm your neighbor in Forked River. I'm so mad at Comcast for getting rid of the travel channel! These shows sound like just the thing to get you excited for your trip!!

We just watched 5 hours of Disney!! What a great way to spend a cold rainy day. My kids are teasing to go to WDW this weekend they swear that they can't wait until July.LOL These shows are soooo much better than the planning dvd so I am now more excited than ever. July will never get here.

I was so excited to see them come on yesterday! I had a whole library of Travel Channel Disney shows on my digital video recorder (it works like TiVo) that my family and I watched all the time. Then, our DVR broke, so Dish TV had to send us a replacement. Of course, there is no way to transfer what you've recorded to a new machine, though I was able to transfer them to VHS. However, I was not pleased about losing them on my DVR! Call me spoiled, but it's just so much easier watching recorded shows on DVR than on VHS. You don't have to search for a tape, you can go right to the show you want to watch, and rewinding and fast forwarding are a lot faster! But I'm happy now, because I was able to record all the shows yesterday, plus the "Unwrapped" that was on Food TV the other night, on my new machine! All is right with the world again.
