Disney Express

Have you heard about the new Disney Express. No longer do we have to worry about towncars to take you to and from disney.
This is the email I received from my travel agent:

"Walt Disney World announces an innovative new service called Disney’s Magical Express which will offer complimentary airport shuttle, luggage delivery and airline check in for Disney hotel guests. (Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel, the seven hotels on and near Hotel Plaza Boulevard, and Shades of Green are not included.)

Beginning May 5, Disney’s Magical Express will allow guests to check their bags at their hometown airport, bypass baggage claim at Orlando International Airport (OIA) and board luxury motor coaches to the Walt Disney World Resort - as their bags "magically" appear in their room upon check in. The round-trip service, which is available and complimentary during Disney’s Happiest Celebration on Earth event (which also begins May 5, 2005), is designed to give Disney hotel guests the stress-free vacation they want. "

on waltdisneyworld.disney.go.com it states this service must be booked 10 days prior to arrival with requests starting january 2nd 2005 for travel on/after may 5th 2005 (the happiest celebration on earth begins) through disneyworld.com, disney reservation center 1-407-w-disney or your travel agent. as for bypassing the check in line with your baggage on your return home it states with participating airlines only (american airlines, song, delta, united, ted and some others, the site said more carriers will probably be added)


i think this is such a great idea to have complimentary transportation to & from the airport to wdw, we were planning on booking motorcoaches for our guests to & from the airport, so one less thing to do. thanks for the informative post "inloveindisney"
