Disney express on a non-Disney hotel

Just had a very friendly chat with a CM regarding our December visit.
After much faffing about he confirmed we can book Disney Express when staying at the Holiday Inn, which will be much nicer for us than fiddling with lockers etc. Unfortunately as I expected we can't book the half board vouchers, although I think we might have been able to had we booked Holiday Inn through Disney.
Of course I forgot the other purpose of my call which was to book tickets for Mickey's Magical Christmas.
Also called Eurostar and thankfully they have arranged for more tickets to be waiting for me at Ashford so I don't need to walk through the tunnel after all.

I paid £30 for two, so it has gone up - only paid £28 for my October trip.
The number I called was 08448 008 111.

Doesn't matter as long as you are staying in a Disney hotel or partner hotel.
We didn't book through Disney at all.

Right hold all previous statements, Disney have today called and cancelled this booking
Apparantly it shouldn't have been done as it can only be added onto a Disney reservation. Is this right? Should I be speaking to somebody else?
