Disney Experts? Weekly Specials?

I have been reading a lot about Disney doing some promotion all year long with a "weekly" special something....anyone here that can share what has been done so far? What some upcoming things are? I have a friend going the first week of February and Ill be there with my family for the PHM and just lookig for some insight from you Disney Experts!! thanks in advance for any info you can share!!

There are so many events which take place in almost 1 or 2 weeks. Some of them are surprising events which are greatly appreciated by the visitors.
