Disney experts, check out this first-timer's itinerary! Please!

Sounds liek you will be having a great time - enjoy!!!

Regarding your day trip to the KSC - If you just get the basic ticket package (tour of the facilities, the IMAX movie, the astronaut hall of fame) - it is a pretty full day if you want to see all there is to see. Plus to make sure you get back to WDW in time for your ADR (traffic getting close to WDW can be horrendous in the evening). I suggest you get there early so you can enjoy the day at a leisurely pace. And BTW - the KSC is great!! You'll have a blast (pun intended!!)

it looks like you plan to stay in one park all day? why not break it up and park hop. we hit up one park at opening, bright and early- take a break for 2 hours midday (when it is hottest!), then head to a different park that night- we plan it all based on any extra magic hours, so we get in earlier or stay later. if it's an EE, we go, and leave after like 2-3 hours, before it gets too crazy crowded, just take our break earlier in the day.

another thing to do on your extra day- go RESORT hopping. it costs nothing and is great fun. We usually have a car, so it makes it easy, but even if you don't- you can ride the monorail line around to the GF, Poly and Contemporary. We have a drink in each, check out the shops, maybe have a snack and explore. We also check out WL and AKL too. It's a nice break from the parks.

In general, I would rethink some of those lunch and dinner reservations. As someone said earlier, you probably need to cut down some on the travel time between parks and meal reservations.

As I said before, when I booked our ADR's, I had no idea where the resorts were, in comparison to the parks. And now, I imagine it might be a bit late to change around to get the ADR's we really want. I think we'll just leave them. It's our first trip, and I don't want to confuse ourselves any more than we already are!

Hehee, thanks Devil_Dog! We're actually going on a planned day tour with a company, who pick us up from our hotel in the early morning, then drop us off at about 6.30pm. We just thought that would be easier than hiring a car for the day and trying to find our own way there!

As above! It's our first trip, and we want to explore as much as we can, but keep it pretty simple! We don't want to bamboozle ourselves, if we can help it. If we finish early at one park, we have every intention of then going to another park, but if we're having fun at a park, why leave just to park hop?! :confused3

Thanks all! :cheer2:
