Went and saw this exhibition today and can highly recommend it to everyone. It's wonderfully set out from Snow White through to Tangled, mainly artwork, concept drawings and cels and a few maquettes. They have screens showing short clips from some of the films. There was also a section on the fables- got a bit teary over the Ugly Duckling but I always do!
After the exhibition I went to the Disney Masterclass where Roy Conli talked about the story of Tangled and showed 4 or 5 clips from it- can't wait to see it! Then Glen Keane the animator gave an insight in to the animation side. He sketched pictures of some of his characters- Ariel, Beast, Tarzan- and talked about the development if animation from 2D to CG.
They also had a book signing so I got to meet them both as well as Lella Smith from the Disney Archives (she like my tartan Mickey shirt).
It's on until about April I think and really worth a visit.
