Well-I don't get on that attraction much (in fact, only been on once in 46 trips to WDW) but I'm wondering exactly how that happened???

Could the "airlifting" refer to the employee being taken over to the Astro Orbiter ride

Given the title, I thought there was a speedway brawl, too. Do you think they'll have to reduce the 7 mph speed limit now or add front-end air bags?

I used to work at a go-kart track and they taught us not to walk in front of the cars. But then again, I'm old school.

You will often see them on the ride helping stuck cars, or if a kid can't reach the peddles (even though they meet the height requirement) they will ride along with the kid.

I'll hazard a guess on the airlift: They didn't want to have to manually carry the dude on a stretcher to an exit in front of all the guests. I'm guessing they got the CM down the utlidor and off to a place where a chopper could land without creating too big of a scene.
