LAKE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Disney employee has been arrested for possessing child porn.

Lake County sheriff's investigators arrested Timothy Lillo on multiple counts of possessing child pornography Tuesday afternoon.

It's not clear exactly what job Lillo did at Disney Word. He being held in the Lake County jail.

First off, everybody knows Lillo doesn't have a job, except taking care of stich.

Second, last time I saw a story like this I didn't see, "Coca Cola employee charged with child porn", or "Wendy's fry guy charged with child porn". So why mention Disney?

Disney hires 10's of thousands of people. You are inevitably going to have a few bad apples, it has nothing to do with the company he works for.

According to a news report, he does MK maintenance at night, and does not interact with guests.

Because it's WFTV, that's why. They will throw the name Disney around in a story because it grabs attention. They have for years.

Sort of like a news article about a plane crash, where the reporter says "200 people died, including 3 children". Does it really matter how many children there were? Not really, but it got your attention.

Funny story about WFTV, the ABC affiliate in Orlando.

One year they decided NOT to show the Disney Christmas parade. I called and complained. The response?

"Who in Orlando would want to watch that anyway?" :confused3

Seriously? How ridiculous.....

It's not the first time a Disney employee has been arrested in that sort of case, no doubt it won't be the last. Disney has a LOT of employees.

That sounds hard to believe they would make a decision like that and give that type of response.

That's just the point. Disney World is not in Orlando, and plenty of Orlando residents will remind you of that fact if given the chance. Of the group of folks I worked with in Orlando (a good 30 people or so), I was the only Disney junkie, and there were several folks that had never been to WDW, and never wanted to go. To some of the older folks, Disney was the worst thing that happened to their quiet country town.

WFTV and Orlando Sentinel jump at any opportunity to report a negative Disney story. But, for some reason, Universal and Sea World get a break. :confused3

You have no idea on how bad WFTV bashes Disney, almost on a daily basis. When I reminded the lady on the phone that they were an ABC affiliate, she had no problem informing me they were independently owned, and not controlled by Disney!

I thought a portion of the property fell into Orange county and it's considered Orlando?? I could be wrong. We are staying at Double Tree Suites at WDW (very near DTD) and it has an Orlando address. :confused3

The property straddles Orange and Osceola Counties. But none of it is within the city of Orlando. The Double Tree nearest DtD is in Lake Buena Vista, there is also a Double Tree in Kissimmee and one in Orlando.

As do all central Florida news stations . . . . not just WFTV . . . . .
