Disney emails/PIN question

Hi there...

I registered on the Disney site about 2 years ago. After reading this board like crazy, I realized that I should re-register with several more email addresses to attempt to catch their attention. I updated my preferences to let them know that they can contact me via email and the USPS. I've played around on their site for several months, priced vacations, saved them, etc. I've ordered many times from the Disney Store. I have a DMR account. My kids play on Disney Jr. I've created custom maps (and had them sent to the house) and requested their vacation planning DVD twice.

I haven't received a single email/letter/postcard. :headache:

I double checked my email addresses and postal addresses to ensure I entered them correctly. Does Disney send out other forms of communication other than PIN codes so I know that I've done SOMETHING right? I get a million DMR emails a week but never anything from the vacation planning 'department'. What gives?
 
You missed the most important step.......... give up.

I did all that last year too and finally let it go. Sometimes it just won't happen. I'm sure there's some sort of missing ingredient as to how they choose where to send the offers...... and I'm really starting to think it's just random luck.

I've tried everything since 2004. I just got a 20% off code for October last week. I was pricing out a trip just to see how much it would be. A couple of days later I got an email stating they were glad I was looking at Pop Century (?). In fact, they sent that same email to me 3 times in one week.

The only discounts I've ever received before were public codes.
 
Thanks guys...but does Disney Destinations send out anything to let you know that you're on their list (other than the ever-elusive pin code?)
 

While I have received one or two postcard pins over the last 5 or so years, and I think one email pin, the only pins I've been able to use I have found out about ONLY BY CALLING AND ASKING! There's certainly no guarantee that you'll have a pin code, but call the phone number and once you get to your dates and ask about price, then ask, "Could you please check to see if I have any discount or pin codes associated with my name?" This worked this past week to book a Disney trip, and the last two trips I've taken. Maybe I've just been lucky, but seriously, I did not receive the information through any means other than calling to ask. Good luck!!
