Disney earnings down 30%. So their answer for that. Raise prices again.

Wow what great economics lesson. If they would lower the prices they would see more people come. Therefore more cash in their pockets.

Most business (except Disney and oil companies) have to lower prices when demand is down.

Disney has always been recession proof and has never felt the need to lower prices.

Are the crowds down too? My inlaws were at Disneyland this past weekend and they said the place was packed. While I don't want to see Disney cutting corners or hurting financially.. I won't be terribly disappointed if the crowds aren't too bad over the next few weeks. ;)

The last time we had a recession and downturn in travel (think 9/11), Disney responded with quiet a few AP and other discounts...lots of post cards and P.I.N.'s. Maybe they will bring those back in stead of those free dining packages that are hard as heck to plan and use.

If Bobby I. thinks his pocket book is a little thinner lately,,tell him to wait for one more year.
Heck, he may even have to start driving his ownself to work. But at least he's one of the few people left with a job.
