Disney Early Morning Magic - Details & Prices

Perhaps you should re-read my post. It is not the fans that are trolling. It is the Disney folks who keep making more and more outlandish price increases/service cuts. If you would like, I can list them all, but I don't think we really need to go down that long list...

I apologize, I misunderstood your post. I will agree that there are more and more events that you pay for.

This is not fair for everyone of us staying in a Disney resort that wants the EMH to get ahead of the crowds! Once again its all about the money...:furious:

You still have EMH, both in the morning and in the evening.

I admit that I Iike to whine as much as the next guy about stuff I can't change or actually affect me so.... I think this is a good idea. Toodle.

How will MK handle rope drop on Early Morning Magic days? How do they handle it for regular EMH mornings? I keep hearing that even though the park doesn't technically open until 9am, the gates are regularly opened 15 min or more early. If I'm paying $69, I wouldn't be too happy to see the rope drop crowd arriving at 7DMT at 8:45. Maybe they'll hold the rope drop group back at the rides until exactly 9 am.

the article make it sound as though this event would start letting paid guests in at 7:45am.
so by 8:45am they would have received the extra hour and i would think that the park would open as usual.

Of course we dont't know yet, but I woudl be willing to bet that when there are these early morning events, RD will not occur 15 minutes early, and the attractions that are open will not be open to anyone who has not purchased a ticket. There will be people in the park having pre park opening breakfast, but they will no longer be able to ride the Mine Train until they are released into the queue.

Yep. I agree. Isn't there a sticker for this event? I thought I read that somewhere. Like if you're wearing the sticker you can ride the rides. Anyway that should separate out the PPO ADR people from the Extra Magical $$$ People.

Now if you can only get this breakfast in that time window and ride rides, not a bargain at all.

I'm wondering if there will be a "Welcome Show" on the EMM (Extra Morning Magic) days or not. Given the entry start time for EMM and limited number of tickets sold, I have to assume there would not be one that early. I'm wondering if there even would be one later before the regular park entry?

The breakfast is served until 10 am, so best bet would be to hit all the rides and then go to the breakfast once the RD crowd hits Fantasyland at 9 am when your exclusive ride timeframe ends.

Throwing my thoughts into the ring - I think this *could* be worth the cost, if it is truly limited attendance. Breakfast can cost between $30-60 for AYCTE meals; with this, you also get to ride three rides...three rides that many would most likely want to FP+ and two of the three regularly have very long standby waits. So, you could argue that you are getting breakfast plus three fastpasses (or more, if you can ride multiple times). Then, you can save your FP+ for other rides. We usually stay off-site (doing a split-stay our next trip), and this would be something I would consider for our family. I would put it on equal footing as a character breakfast. (*Provided Disney executes this well.)

Of course not, but honestly, I cannot see getting too upset yet.there is no certainty at all about anythng.

i think if they stopped springing so many changes on us in such a short amount of time it would be less upsetting.
as it stands its all very overwhelming and makes you wonder what else they are going to change and when

At this point I cannot be the only person anxiously waiting for the announcement of Frozen Ever After Early Access Hour at EPCOT, or FEAEAHAH for short.

For $129 each you and your little princess get "exclusive" early access to ride Frozen Ever After, a picture with Anna and Elsa, a ride on Sven and and Orange or Apple juice slushie made by Olaf.

edit: Disney stockholders love this idea but think the $129 price point is too low

oddly enough that sounds more worth while especially if you're really into frozen.
nothing i'd be willing to pay but still.

For years our family has wanted to stay off property in a house but didn't want to give up EMH. Heck! Now for the money we'll be saving by staying in a big ol house, we can afford to do the Early Morning Magic Hours.

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner....this is EXACTLY why Disney is doing this: getting more money from the off-site guests. Just don't forget to add in this cost for EVERYONE in your party along with the $20 (for now) parking fee per day when pricing out the off-site rental.

I don't think EMH will end. I just wonder how this new experience will effect the PPO BOG folks. Will they be held back until official park opening? I can't see them allowing all the BOG folks to march down to 7DMT at 8:45, thus spoiling the special magic people's experience. I think this is another way of spreading out crowds.

It will be interesting to hear reports of how things work with folks who do this once this is live, how it effects BOG PPO people, as well as the after hours $150 for 3 additional hours. We have lots of work to do folks!! LOL!!

I don't think it will effect the PPO BOG people at all. They may be marched to 7DMT and put in the standby line which won't start until park opening. Those that have the Morning Magic package will be riding using the Fast Pass line. Easy to manage; the rides are set up for it. And please remember, everyone is talking as if that PPO BOG reservation guaranteed rides before park opening, and it does not... Just search threads to see the thousands of responses of people incredulous because they tried this and on the days they were there, for whatever reason, they did NOT get to ride early.
