At this point, I think we'll be more fully vaccinated than the US by December, it seems their take up has slowed considerably, which ours has not (yet). Personally, since my son and I will be able to be vaccinated, I am only concerned with border restrictions, and hope that being vaccinated will preclude the isolation upon returning. Of course you then also have to worry about other countries where vaccines may not be as available, and people still want to travel. But I am hoping vaccination will be something necessary for travel. I am happy that cruises will have to be vaccinated. I don't think Disney would be able to do that though, it's a lot more people and not nearly as controlled.
I also think that as more people get their first dose, and eventually second, things will have to open up here too, and masks will drop eventually. But as someone else said, most people in Canada only started wearing them outside recently, it was indoors that was the focus. We wore masks when we went to the TO zoo last year, it was crowded and there were places indoors and out that there were too many people around. Not everyone did though. Any way. All to say, I wouldn't worry about it yet. There are still a few months to go and hopefully things will just look better before then.
