I'm so excited about creating my trip report and I hope I do this right.


I'm Bridgette, 24 and I'm going to WDW with my long time boyfriend, Chase, 23

We're going August 2nd - 7th 2008

Our resort of choice = The Contemporary

Our room = Garden Wing with Garden View

We booked through AAA with 6 days Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper Option and basic Dining Package

The schedule so far is:

Friday, Aug 1st:
  • Fly from Indianapolis to Orlando on NWA and stay either with Chase's aunt Kathy in Ovedo or with Jeff, Chase's best friend and Disney Cast Member

Saturday the 2nd:
  • Arrive to WDW Contemporary Resort via our friend Jeff
  • Early Check-In to get passes and room key charge card and leave luggage if room not available.
  • Head to Downtown Disney by bus
  • Return to Resort by taxi around 8:00pm
  • ADR at the California Grill at 9:30pm

Sunday the 3rd: Magic Kingdom
  • leave the Contemporary at 8:00-8:15 and walk to park
  • pick up Times Guide on way in
  • head to Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain
  • Ride Buzz Lightyear
  • head to Fantasyland and ride Winnie the Pooh
  • ride Peter Pan's Flight
  • get pictures in front of Mad Tea Party (Alice is SO's fav movie)
  • go to Liberty Square and see Haunted Mansion
  • head to Frontierland and ride Splash Mountain (get FP if wait is longer than 20 min... it probably will be)
  • ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • ride Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland
  • return to Splash Mountain with FP
  • eat Lunch at Peco Bill's
  • take WDWRR from Frontierland to Mickey's Toontown Fair and get pics with Mickey and friends... see country house and Judge's Tent
  • pick up WDWRR to Main Street U.S.A.
  • depending on the tiredness factor, tour and shop
-return to resort to rest up for evening EMH-

  • head back to the park via monorail around 4pm-ish (depends on when we left)
  • see Town Square Exposition Hall (I'm a photographer, don't want to miss this)
  • take WDWRR to Frontierland
  • see Enchanted Tiki Room
  • tour Swiss Family Treehouse
  • ride the Liberty Belle Riverboat
  • see Mickey's Philharmagic
  • ADR at Tony's @ 8:15pm
  • see Monster's Inc. Comedy Club
  • ride Tomorrowland Transit Authority
  • see Wishes
  • see Spectromagic
  • play at EMH evening!

Monday the 4th: Epcot/Animal Kingdom
  • not sure of exact plans but I think we'll sleep in a little bit and head to Epcot for a slow paced late morning and afternoon
  • head to Animal Kingdom by bus around 4:30pm
  • tour Animal Kingdom until ADR at Boma for 7:15pm
  • EMH evening!

Tuesday the 5th: Epcot
  • arrive by 8:30 from the Contemporary via Monorail
  • pick up Times Guide
  • head to Soarin' and get FASTPASS
  • head to Future World East and ride Test Track
  • ride Mission: Space without FASTPASS
  • if time before Soarin' FP return time, ride Living with the Land
  • Return to Soarin' and ride with FP
  • get 2nd set of FP for Soarin'
  • See the Seas with Nemo and Friends
  • See Turtle Talk with Crush
  • Tour the Seas
  • Ride Journey into the Imagination with Figment
  • See Honey, I Shrunk the Audience
  • if return window for Soarin' FP is close, return and ride
  • eat lunch at Sunshine Seasons
  • if we didn't before, return to Soarin' and ride with FP
  • ride Spaceship Earth
  • Visit Universe of Energy
  • World Showcase plans aren't finalized yet
  • ADR at San Angel Inn at 8:00pm
  • Illuminations
  • EMH Evening!

Wednesday the 6th: Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • Arrive by 8:30am
  • Get Times Guide
  • head to Pixar Place and ride Toy Story Mania
  • go to Sunset Blvd. and get FP for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
  • ride Tower of Terror
  • ride the Great Movie Ride in Hollywood Boulevard
  • return to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and ride with FP
  • check wait time for Voyage of the Little Mermaid in Animation Courtyard (if longer than 20 min come back in evening)
  • take the Backlot Tour in Pixar Place
  • Head to Streets of America
  • check wait time for Lights! Motors! Action! and get FP if longer than 20 min.
  • eat lunch at ABC Commissary
  • (return to LMA if using FP)
  • explore Streets of America
  • See Muppet-Vision 3D
  • Head to Echo Lake and check wait time for Star Tours, get FP if longer than 20 min.
  • See Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
  • head to Pixar Place and see One Man's Dream
  • see the Magic of Disney Animation in Animation Courtyard
  • (return to Star Tours if using FP)
  • eat dinner at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater with ADR
  • (return to Voyage of the Little Mermaid if needed)
  • see Beauty and the Beast
  • tour Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards
  • hang out until time to go and wait for Fantasmic! (9:45 for 10:30 show time)
  • evening EMH

Thursday the 7th (LAST DAY): Magic Kingdom (most likely but not 100%)
  • plans aren't finalized but begin with room service breakfast
  • check out and leave luggage for storage
  • head to Magic Kingdom until time to return to hotel to leave for airport (around 5:30pm)
