We had a PS at 8:05 for Crystal Palace. We have eaten here before but only lunch & dinner & to be honest with you, we were not impressed with it. But I have heard so much great things about the breakfast that I thought I would give it a try.
We were let in the gates & seated as soon as we were checked in. We had a wonderful server named Steven, I believe. I am hoping that was his name. In anycase he was very good.
I must say we were VERY impress with the breakfast offerings. MY GOODNESS so much food. I did try the breakfast lasagna & I liked it.
We all had so much to eat! I was very impressed with the fruit bar area. So much to choose from!!
All the characters came around, Pooh, Tigger & Eeyore. Piglet stayed up near the entrance. No one was near Piglet when we got there so we quickly got our picture with him.
After we ate, the park had JUST opened so it wasnt overly crowded yet. We headed over to Tomorrowland. We grabbed a FP for Buzz Lightyear & then saw the wait was only 10 mins, so we hopped in line. My son first went with Grandma & then my son stated he wanted to go with me. Well, when we got off the ride we saw that there was still only a 10 min wait so we hop on it again.
After doing that we headed over to the TTA & the Carousel of Progress. This was my mothers first time being on it & she really enjoyed it. My son & I really enjoyed it too. I just love the song.
After our FP was ready for Buzz Lightyear, so off we go again! I do have to say this is a great ride, I just wish it fit more then 2 people in one car, with 3 people someone always had to sit alone. Oh well .
Once we were done with that we headed over to ToonTown. We stopped first & drove the Indy Cars. I let my son go on with Grandma & I waited at the sidelines.
We entered ToonTown & headed off to meet Mickey right away. Luckily, Mickey wasnt too busy at this time. We might have waited 10 minutes before seeing him at the most.
We went over to the Hall of Fame, we didnt stand in any lines though because we had met all those characters already. We did do some shopping though!
On our way out we let Jackson play in Donalds Boat. He got really wet, which I am sure felt good since it was a hot day.
I asked if he wanted to do the barnstormer but he said no it was for little kids. I tried to tell him it wasnt be he still didnt want to go on it.
We left ToonTown & of course passed those darn tea cups that my son loves so much. So he pleaded to go on them. So myself & my son went on the tea cups again!
It was then time to leave because we had to go to the Car Care Center to pick up our rental car we had reserved.
After picking up the car, I decided it was time to do some laundry. Now that is my biggest complaint about the Contemporary .the dryers STINK!!!!!
I did not have huge loads & it took me TWO cycles to dry one load (thats $4.00) & it STILL was not completely dry. I wasnt going to pay another $2.00 so I hung up the clothes throughout the room.
I was not the only one having problems with the dryers. Others using the dryers were having the same problem! It was just awful!!!!!
We had 6:00 ressies at the Concourse Steakhouse. Our servers name was Kim & believe me I have had better servers at Dennys!!!!! She was awful, thank goodness the food was good or the experience would have been a total bomb.
We talked about heading over to MGM to catch Fantasmic but DS was really wanted to go back into the arcade again. After thinking about, I decided that we would just hang out in the arcade then racing over to MGM to try to get a good seat for Fantasmic.
