Now maybe you can help me with something....what exactly can you do on the ship when it is at port? I mean besides swimming and the aquaduck? Can you go to a movie? What else do you recommend. Castaway cay will be too cold to snorkel or swim right?

Yes, I think there are still loads of activities to do on the ship while at port, like movies, mini-golf, and spa treatments. And there's always the Midship Detective Agency, too!

I expect the water at Castaway Cay to be a teeny bit chilly at first, but the swimming will still be great. We definitely plan on snorkelling and doing the Pelican Plunge a few times too. Just hold on to your sunglasses there - I speak from experience!

No park days for us, but we live up the street from WDW so we will be driving from our house straight to the port on Thursday. For the next few days I will be keeping my children in a bubble… they don't DARE get sick this week!!!

There is so much fun stuff to do on the boat! The whole sports deck has fun activities, there are fitness classes, tastings, game show style quiz activities, the spa, and my favorite… BINGO!!! Last time we went my dad even saw some program about behind the scenes on the Dream. He said it was really interesting. I like to look at old Navigators to get ideas of what will be going on when we are on the ship.

Hey all!

I just want to thank you all for the wonderful FE gifts. My boys had so much fun checking their pockets and we all loved everything! I don't know about the rest of you but I think we will need to sleep all day tomorrow in order to catch up on all of our sleep! Now if I could just get this boat to stop rocking...lol

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a wonderful time! Thank you June for organizing the FE exchange. There are some truly talented and creative people in this group! Now that we've had a chance to really check things out we don't know what to play with first (or wear, use, eat, etc.). THANK YOU ALL!

Next big decision is when to cruise again....next time longer though!

Totally agree! My little girl was so thrilled to go to the door to see what was there. Thanks to everyone for all of the thoughtful gifts. And if you helped put our door puzzle together - thanks!! I think that was one of the biggest thrills aside from the FE gifts. Still rocking over here in SC after our 8 hour drive home. ugh. Planning Alaska next!

We got in late last night from a lonnnnnng travel day, but we still had huge smiles on our faces. Our girls said the fish extender gifts were one of their favorite parts of the cruise!

I used several of my fish extender gifts today, and I think it really did make the transition back to work a WHOLE lot easier!

Thank you everyone for the creative, thoughtful, and all-around MAGICAL gifts. We loved them all!

I totally can relate to the rocking! I can't shake my sea legs!!! On top of that and an 8 hour airport stay ...I caught a bad head cold. BOOOO! Anyway it was totally worth it. I only regret not getting to know you guys a bit better. You were all true gems!

Thank you all so much for all the gifts. My kids got so excited when we would go back to the room and their pockets were full. My only complaint is the cruise just wasn't long enough. Lol. Ready to plan our next cruise.

A huge thank you to everyone for all the wonderful fish extender gifts. My boys loved going back to the room and finding treasures in their pouches. Truly special! You are all very creative and generous and it was so fun to be a part of this group.
We just arrived home last night (in a snow storm, rude awakening back to Minnesota) and even after 5 days at the Beach Club and the parks, I swear I still feel myself rocking as I type this. Too weird!
Thanks again for making our trip truly magical!

We just wanted to add our thanks to the FE group too. My kids talk about Fish Extender or Castaway Cay as their very favorite part of the cruise. It seemed like the kids would open the door every couple of minutes and there was always a new treasure with a favorite character to discover. Can't wait to do it again some day. Thanks for sharing the magic with us!
