This was the special that made me want to have a Disney wedding! They do focus on the couture weddings, which was a little disappointing, especially since I've rewatched it since I've been planning and know about the prices! However, it is definitely a must watch!

Agreed! I wish they would have evened it out and made it equal and showed Escape, Wishes AND couture...

(But, it is fun to watch it over and over since I saved it on my DVR too!)

Also, was fun to see the one SBP bride that I have seen on the DISBOARDS! I got teary eyed! I was also able to show my fiance a live video of SBP, so that was super helpful!!! I wish they would do a newer version of DFTW on WE!

That was wonderful to watch -- I loved how your husband said about how he didn't want lots of other people watching the wedding - I had my fiance watch that part, he has felt that way too - so it was good how you put it in perspective that you are so in the moment, you don't care who's watching! So fun to see a DISboards bride on there!

Aww! Thanks! Jim really struggled with the thought that lots of passerbys would stop and gawk. He actually rejected Italy Isola for our rehearsal dinner b/c he felt it was too "public". (Boo! ) As it turned out, the BW was PACKED the night we got married and our wedding was on national television so he clearly was forced to "get over it"! Seriously though, I'm glad it helped your fiance to hear that lots of other guys have the same qualms, but remember- the Disney team (and I mean TEAM) on your wedding day will not allow people to watch and linger and even if they do; you won't have a clue. You'll be too preoccupied by the biggest moment of your life!! Congrats and happy planning!!

I definitely wouldn't go THAT far!! (though I was recognized once from the show by some random girl at the Poly). Yay for SBP brides! I didn't think you were talking about my wedding at all so no worries.
