We have booked Disney Dream 7572 and are concerned about proximity to elevators/stairs. Can anyone share details? Our last cruise we were under the pool deck, and it was crazy loud.

We had rooms 7574 and 7576 and it was not bad at all. I am VERY sensitive to noise and it was much, much quieter than I expected. We do always travel with a white noise machine, FYI.

Also we have booked basically the same rooms on the Fantasy this fall (just on opposite side of ship) so that should tell you that we were OK with the noise factor. :)

THANK you! We have been about five doors down from elevators and didn't have any trouble, so fingers crossed!

love to get that room, great access to everything and have never had a problem with noise. Enjoy your cruise!

You can always go on the DCL website and look at the deck plans. You should be able to figure out what is on the deck above you.

We just got off of the Fantasy on Saturday and we has staterooms 8572 and 8574. We actually did hear the thundering hoof beats of children and their parents (Yes - I opened the door to see the herd running past with a mother racing her kids to the stairs.) running up and down our hallway. 8572 is the first cabin that you see when you come out of the elevator and head to the starboard side of the ship. And one evening someone messed with our magnets, but didn't cause any real harm, just turned them all upside down. I really don't see what the thrill of doing that was, but, meh, whatever. Having said all that, the noise was mildly annoying, but it didn't ever disturb our sleep. We mainly heard it when we were in the rooms getting for shows or dinner. It wasn't loud at all after 10 pm.

Wow. I really would have been hard pressed to not make some comment about what a GREAT example she was setting for her children on how to behave.
