Disney Dream Server/Assistant Servers

We were on the Dream for the four day on 5/01 and had Linval from Jamaica as our server and Artha from indonesia as our assistant server they were awesome.

On our July 15-19, 2011 Dream trip we had
Simone (Italy) as the Head Server
Sipho (South Africa I think) as the Server and
Coko (Cokoroda is his full name from Indonesia) the Assistant Server
I was not impressed with Simone or Sipho. We loved Coko though.
Simone was just never around and didn't really bother to say hi. Sipho made me feel like I was always asking to much from him. I couldn't even get booster seats from him. Coko did the work of 3 men. He was always smiling and made us feel important. He came by often and always had the kids drinks on the table when we showed up.

In early June we had:
Vladimir from Montenegro (Server) & Mignon from South Africa (Asst. Server). Both were really great! Vladimir only had a few cruises left on his contract so he is likely on vacation for now.
Faisal was our Head Server and he was okay. We didn't really need anything from him, so I guess that meant he was doing his job.

We really enjoyed Leslie from India on the Magic last year. He was supposed to move to the Dream--does anyone know for sure? Would like to request him in November.

Yes, he was on the Dream in early June. He was our server on the Magic in 2009 and we ran into him at lunch one day on our 5 night Dream cruise. He's a great server.

MARIO * MARIO * MARIO * from Honduras !! He was our waiter on our Dream B2B last March. I wish we could have him everytime !! We called him SUPER MARIO !!!!!!!!

I agree!! We had Grissell on the Dream on the 2/20 sailing. She was so smily, personable and really wonderful! I would totally ask for her again.

Her Assistant Darko was a little green. Very polite guy and tried hard but he seemed to still be learning the ropes. Drink service overall was slow on this cruise- probably still working out the kinks so I think that threw him off and made him rush and do things like leave the uncapped bottle of beer on the table after he served it and forget to pop the top off! He did this to our table twice. Again, not a big deal and I would certainly enjoy sitting at Grissell and Darko's area again.

We had them too the next week. Grissell was leaving on vacation the next week, she was counting the days. I loved loved loved her. Darko was funny, I annoyed him the first night by being a social butterfly and talking to people at other tables as we were on a group cruise. He learned to love me by the end of the cruise. He was new, but he tried hard, and by the end of the cruise he was part of our family.

Has anyone had Louis from India lately as server? He's a really big guy. We had him on the Magic, and when we last asked for him on the Wonder we were told he had gone to the Dream. Hoping he's still there!

No she is not I keep in touch with her through email and last we spoke she was on vacation and then headed to the Fantasy to be a server in Remy's

On our first cruise in May 2011 we had Goncalo and Drenka, and I have requested them again for our upcoming cruise. There were 8 of us, and my mother in particular was so impressed that Goncalo called her by name every time he saw her (we had them once for lunch and once for breakfast as well). They were great with the kids.

We had Mario as our waiter on the Dream in December!!! We LOOOOOOVE him! Francia was his assistant server - I loved her too, such a sweet lady. Simone was our head waiter and he was fine I guess not a huge fan.

But Mario and Francia I can't say enough about! I plan on asking him for them on our next cruise (although he's on vacation right now and won't be back until April - yep, we email )

We had Igusti from Malyasia as our main server and Arunee from Thailand as his assistant on our Dream cruise last september. They really made every dinner to be a spectacular for our kids! Igusti was very cool with the kids and soon found out what they like and don't like and assisted them with their food to have us parents enjoy our meal. He even feeded the kids when he thought they were not eating good;-)
That was really great! He also brought dishes which we did'nt order just as a suplemental when he thought we may like it and we liked everything of it!
U'm not sure if he is still on the Dream or if he went to the Fantasy since he also was aboard the Dream when she was in Germany!

We just returned from the 4-night "Dream" cruise yesterday. We've cruised six times since 2008 on the Wonder, Fantasy, and Dream. Four out of six times we have had our wonderful friend Ganesh Ubale (India) as our Server. He just can't be beat--hopefully he gets the promotion he deserves very soon! Our assistant server was Juni and was wonderful--but he is leaving in February for a few months and headed home to Bali to see his family. Our head server was Kendall, and he we had more interaction with him and liked him better than any head server we've had in the past.

Our server was I Made from Bali and Joy from Trinadad was his assistant. He was great....made oragami flowers for us...even did some simple magic tricks. Very good server. Joy....was a mature lady and quite shy and quiet, not as talkative as I Made.

I Made was a server for one of our breakfast/lunch meals....he was a delight!

We sailed July 29. We had Mihaly C (Hungary) and Chris P (Jamaica). The last night we had a new trainee, Sebastian from Canada. They were all good, but being our first cruise and our family being pretty easy going.. I don't know how they compare to anyone else. Mihaly was difficult to understand at times, as well as seeming to be a little unfamiliar with American "teen speak" (good lesson for my kids, however.. in using proper English and making sure they were polite enough to be understood!) Chris was very funny and kept my kids laughing. Sebastian spent a lot of time flirting wit my 18yo daughter. Mihaly said he was staying on the Dream, Chris said he would be moving to the Fantasy.

We only saw and spoke to our head server twice. Once the first night, and once the last (when he was collecting his gratuities). He did seem to be spending a LOT of time at the table next to ours, however.

On our last cruise on the wonder we had Banjo. I'm not sure if he moved over to the Dream or not, but he was AWESOME! He absolutely was the best server that we ever had. Since we're going to be dining with you, I thought I'd suggest him

We had Banjo once on the Wonder too--he is awesome! We are friends on facebook now!

Thank you to Goncalo from Portugal for making the impossible "possible"
I have severe medical issues right now and my food allergies is quite challenging. However, this gentleman made everything to the detail for me to have every single dinner experience Magical. Thank you Disney for having such An amazing crew and Gonzalo or Goncalo is far beyond amazing! Also to Katerina and Jason (from Zimbabwe) what a team! DISNEY DREAM it's a beautiful and magical reality!
