MEET & GREET INFORMATION
Okay everyone...I've been trying to research what areas of the ship would be available on embarkation day for a Meet & Greet. It looks like the District Lounge, the 687 Lounge, and the Bon Voyage lounge are all possibilities and open on embarkation day. As an FYI, the District Lounge is an adults-only area at night, but it's open to guests of all ages during the day. After looking at the deck plan map I think The District Lounge should work for us, and as a bonus it is indoors in case we have bad weather.

Day: Embarkation Day~ September 25, 2011
Where: District Lounge located on deck 4 aft in the District area
When: 3:00-3:30 (ish). I believe the mandatory safety drill is at 4:00 which is why I chose 3:00 o'clock.
Why: To meet everyone involved in the FE or anyone else who wants to be involved in the meet. This will also give us a chance to update our group sheets with any necessary changes for the FE. I'll bring extra copies of the sheets in case you leave yours at home.

*If you can't make it to the Meet & Greet I'll drop off updated FE group sheets to the stateroom number I have listed for you. Hopefully you'll have your fish extender hanging so I know I've found the right room
I'll try to have the information delivered to you the first night, but with early dining and a late show time for my family, it might be morning before I get to your stateroom. You can also leave a message at my stateroom which is #2522.

Me and DF are hoping to book our first DCL on the Dream for a Land and Sea for our Disneymoon

Am in the process of pricing up an Ocean Deluxe with Verandah. Apparently these verandahs are supposed to be quite spacious.

We are quite excited about the possibility of doing DCL, I have spent the last two days browsing the DCL website looking at everything

We've booked a suite. We've cruised before (pre-kids),but never have done a Disney cruise. We'll be going on our 1st Disney cruise this summer. I'm so excited.

Just booked ours today. This is our second DCL cruise. We decided to try the inside stateroom for the virutal port hole. This will be our 4th cruise and our first inside!! Hopefully it will be worth it Can't wait to see the new ship. Those of us going are me, DH, DS (6 at the time) and DD (3) and my parents. So excited already!

Cruising with me are DH, DD who will be 11 at cruise time and DS who will be 4 at cruise time. My husband's parents are also coming with us. This will be the third time we have cruised together. We are trying to talk a few others into coming with us.

My husband and I are trying a Carnival cruise this September. We are going sans kids with another couple. We told our daughter that we had to check out their activities for kids to see if they met Disney standards before we took them along. We are finding that is really isn't all that much cheaper than a Disney cruise.

For 3xthejoy, Fish Extenders are bags that you hang outside of your stateroom door to receive small gifts throughout the cruise. Just outside the door is a fish emblem. The bags hang from the fish, hence the name, Fish Extenders. I'll see if I can find a photo of ours from the last cruise.

Hi All! Congrats on your 2011 Dream cruise booking. We are hoping to join you...we will be on the RCCL Freedom cruise Sept 18th with family and are thinking we just might pop on over and board the Dream while we are in FL after debarkation. We are DCL cruise fans since our first Magic cruise in Sept. 2009 but my dh's family chose RCCL over DCL when planning started and ever since then I have been trying to get back on a Disney ship....lots of stars will have to align seeing as how we had a Sept 2010 cruise booked but dh's work took priority over that booking so here I am trying to get back on DCL again! Fill 'ya in as we "hopefully" proceed.
