Just had to share alittle info with ya'll. Heard from the Social Security office yesterday morning. They received my online application for retiring in January and had a few minor questions I needed to answer. I'm now all set to start drawing my social security next year!!!
I didn't know they worked on Saturdays but the very nice lady I talked too said that they had alot of people retiring, (us baby boomers), which means the need to work Saturdays to help those like me retiring now get their benfits all setup. I'll still do some part-time work, but, I'M RETIRING!!!! DW says she is going to keep working. That means I'll be home alone some days!!!! I'll get into sooooooooooooooo much trouble!!!! This will give me more time to write to ya'll!!!!! (You poor people you!!!!)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I"m so jealous! Retirement is NOWHERE near my future right now! Good thing I like my job, huh?

Ps Debbie, when George tells you, "you rock" it should be taken as the highest compliment.

I like my job..............infact I could almost say I love my job................................................................................................................................. even I couldn't say that with a straight face!!! I crack meself up sometimes!!! Seriously, it's good, been paying the ol' bills and puttn' food on the table, for all these years now. That's so cool!!!! And, like you said, we already knew this, but it's nice that now EVERYONE in the WHOLE cruiseline industry knows it! So, next time someone asks me why I choose DCL as apposed to a cheaper cruiseline, I can refer them to this article!

Looking forward to reading any info on DCL. Have a great time at EPCOT's F&W....would love to be there too but I have to wait until December....which really isn't too far off. Love seeing WDW at Christmas time.

tjbaggott - did you ever get ahold of Shutters last year to get the pictures that were not on your CD? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2325972

I was just cleaning out my subscribed threads and came across that one (I had posted a reply on it).

I think DCL really has to come up with a better way to allow passengers to view their pictures. The system they have now is just not a very good one. I don't like spending valuable vacation time looking at walls and walls of pictures to find my pictures. And not all of my pictures showed up on my KTTW card at those little kiosks. I don't understand why they can't do a "PhotoPass" type system there. I know they do take random pictures, but for the most part if they did a Photopass system it would make most of it a lot easier!

It will be the first cruise for dgs, we just came back from his first WDW world trip a few weeks ago and I thought this would be nice for our next trip. We'll be at Pop for 4 days pre-cruise. Almost a year to go and I just can't wait! I haven't read the whole thread yet, but I'll do that now.

In September we were on the Wonder for the DVC members cruise and then spent a couple of days at WDW. We had so much fun...wish I were still there.
