Disney Dream - Restart Content (initial cruises)

That’s a tough call. I can see both sides. Maybe families should not be able to share a safe passage account. Each individual passenger should have their own account and then it would have been clear that the kids weren’t in green status.
It might be easier to allow everyone to share a single account, just as they have a single login for the check-in of the cruise itself, and it should never show status as Green until it is Green for everyone in the party.

I’m mixed emotion on blame because I don’t necessarily fault either side-

my Question is the line in the Reddit thread something like ‘Disney caught unaware of the number of families caught in this issue’.. shouldn’t/wouldn’t have Disney known about the number of people not cleared due to missing incomplete tests?
Wouldn’t it be something that would be known 24-48 hrs in advance at the close of the ‘window’ of how many people screwed up and deal with it then not at port?

That would work as well. Either way, it should be crystal clear who in the travel party is not green and why he/she is not.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong; my personal life has been super busy lately and I barely have time to keep up with everything.
Isn't it required to enter all the testing results or vaccination proof on Safe Passage? One would think the families could have looked up their status to know that they’re all set to go long before heading to the port.
This is my ninth DCL cruise. Previously I planned them for my entire family. Today I checked my boarding status for the bajillionth(?) time because it still said pending. I finally took an in-depth look and realized I uploaded one of my vax cards twice! Can’t believe I almost blew that. And it’s because of that check list. Times are a bit stressful 🥴

So your vax card was there twice, that would mean you were checking the Safe Passage website, right? Boarding status for online Disney check-in has nothing to do with vax cards. Just making sure where you saw 2 cards?

Yes it was the Safe Passage site. I mistakenly uploaded the same one twice. I’m assuming that my on line check in status with DCL is showing pending review because Safe Passage has to let DCL know that I am good to go.

when I created my wife's account and my account, they were linked by reservation numbers. When I uploaded the vaccine cards, the date on mine was hard to read because of the sicker they put over it. If you enlarged the pic you could see it. After 2 days my wife showed up "clear to sail" but mine did not. I received an email from safe passage stating there was no date for my 2nd vaccine. I tried to explain to them about the date and was told it must be readable. I took a pen and traced the date through the sticker so it could be read and uploaded again. Next day I was cleared. My point is even though we could see each other's status when we logged in, we were cleared at different times

I'm also wondering how the Disney busses will be working from the port. We get in really early on day of our cruise (8/27) and have booked the bus for the two of us. Figured no hassle if on their bus! And i guess they will load based on PAT? Hopefully someone will report back on how that worked. We've looked at other options but thought the busses might be easiest this time.

I'm also curious about this! For us it's resort-to-port.

I'm still waiting for someone to report on Palo Brunch! I know today is a sea day and they have weak Wi-Fi access. Hopefully tomorrow when they dock at Castaway we get a flood of videos!

So not exactly the same but close there are Palo Brunch videos from the UK cruises. If they happen though on the Dream they should end up in this thread.

We have brunch scheduled for Sunday. I heard based on the test cruise they are not offering the buffet, but rather serving you a seafood and antipasto plate, as well as a selection of breads, in addition to the entrees.
