Disney Dream - Restart Content (initial cruises)

Has anyone seen this video? I just saw it and is more in line what i like to see from leaving hotel
to arriving and regarding screening. I do have a question though. That test in the video is that what
they are using for kids? I'm confused.

I'd imagine it's the same test. Seems like a pretty simple self administered swab...of course ignore the YouTuber hamming it up for ratings.

I’m mixed emotion on blame because I don’t necessarily fault either side-
I think everyone knew there would be glitches between the testing, vaccination cards, protocols and getting a ship restarted after over a year shutdown. Which is the entire reason this is a test cruise.

I can live with this - so long as it's all I care to eat.

We have brunch scheduled for Sunday. I heard based on the test cruise they are not offering the buffet, but rather serving you a seafood and antipasto plate, as well as a selection of breads, in addition to the entrees.

I mean on one hand Yay for us, it's been 7 years so we don't have ours anymore... on the other hand it's been 7 years and it's still the same thing?

Seriously, you don't even want to know. You probably already have at least 3 (I have 5).

This is exactly what I want to see, is the Brunch on the Dream following the same format as the UK cruise (hope not) or is the full seafood buffet in place just being served by cast members.
I am curious of this as well and it would be great to get final confirmation.

Also wondering if Palo brunch will be offering caviar as a side appetizer with their seafood starter. Or maybe you can request it? The caviar was always something I enjoyed while onboard and it gives me that feeling of being on the Titanic.

When it comes to caviar, I do not pull a DiCaprio...

Adorable. I love how spread out the tables are. Before, we were so crammed in you felt like you were part of the conversation at nearby tables.
Funny you mention that because we requested a private table after a not-so-pleasant experience with our tablemates on a previous cruise. It was a National Lampoon's Cousin Eddie situation...

For the next cruise, we looked forward to having our own table but we were so close to the other private table that it was like we were dining with them. I cracked a joke about something on the menu and we ended up chatting with them every evening. It's funny how things work out like that, but I totally get what you mean by how crammed things used to be.

To be fair, we've met some great people at our table over the years, but every now and then you'll get a Cousin Eddie...
