Disney Dream - Restart Content (initial cruises)

So any Concierge level people have a report? We are trying to figure out when we can arrive at parking garage On the Aug 16th Dream cruise. We have tried to Contact the concierge shoreside rep and they have not been helpful at all. All we have been told is we have no port arrival time and can show up anytime. From today's pictures looks like garage opens at 12:45?

Possibly my really just have to keep checking on each cruise.

The hand washing stations were on the Fantasy over Christmas 2019, so they may not be new on the Dream.

They were definitely on the Magic on the 9.1.19 sailing.

So not the 400 that was reported ?

That is 25 that a Disney bus was called for.

At least 1 was turned around in the garage, others could have been turned around there or had been turned around earlier being sent back on a Disney bus sooner.

So we don't know for sure. It's possible 400 were turned around but seems high if they are only putting 1000-2500 on the ship to start. You are basically saying 16%-40% of the ship was not allowed to board (based on the 1000-2500 estimates of passengers).

No Mickey waffles..I wonder why?.that’s my go to breakfast on DCL....when the Magic started sailing out of the UK earlier this summer they didn’t have them either?so strange.

I am not positive but I think the MDR breakfast does have the omelet and mickey waffles. Maybe someone who has been on a cruise can confirm but thought I watched another video out of the UK where that was the case.

So I checked Knappily Ever After on Youtube ate in the MDR and had Mickey Waffles (normal and vegan).

They were on the UK Staycation on July 23rd it would seem. (Verified in the UK thread and that would have been the 4th sailing but they might have had it from the start)

The fact that they are actually turning away people makes me feel better about potentially booking a cruise. Looking forward to hearing all about the experience!

It was also in Cabanas there were no Mickey waffles in the UK.

My guess would be that Mickey waffles (and omelettes) create lines (er…queues) for guests, and DCL doesn’t want to encourage guests lining up. The alternative, I suppose, is dedicating three or four CMs to just running plates to guests on a per-order basis, on top of all the additional CMs already behind the glass serving us. Makes sense to me, but still a bummer.
