Yep, I think people way underestimate the stress of breakthrough positives. I know I did. I traveled to the UK alone in May and went through the whole testing process (4 times). With one person it was stressful but fine. But when I went back with my husband and son a month later ... the stress was magnified exponentially. It's not until you've taken the test and are waiting for your results that you realize how messed up everything can get if you happen to test positive. This was magnified in the UK due to the number of tests required at the time. The one at home (the pre-test) was fine. It was the other three that sucked (day 2, test to release on Day 5, Day 8 (which we combined with out test to get home).Just a reminder for folks you can test positive with no symptoms and be fully vaccinated. On a trip
to Hawaii in April with friends you had to be tested to enter Hawaii. One of our friends fully vaccinated
asymptomatic testing positive 36 hours before we left. She stayed behind to quarantine until a negative
test. This is a chance you take. It definitely put a damper on things.
