Woohoo. We will be leaving for this cruise ten weeks from today ( we are flying in a day early and staying at the Hyatt the evening before our cruise ).

Starting to finalize ideas for the FE exchange. Looks like we have a nice sized group so far.

I am here and will do some test posting. I was just fixing to ask to be removed from this list as we are having to change our cruise date :-( My dad has cancer and is stage 4, I am saving all of my vacation to be with family when the time comes.

Looking forward to connecting with others to set up a Fish Extender group on this cruise.

If organizing defaults to me on this DIS thread, I'm happy to get it started in a simple way. Looking for about 15 cabins to participate (if there are too many we can break into more groups). This first post would be updated periodically to keep an upfront list of who is participating so that you know how many people are interested. The group will be closed by September 24, 2016 in order to allow time for group members to prepare the right number of gifts.

It seems easiest to collect info for each cabin by simply posting basic info to this thread (as many other threads have done) -- this way participants get feedback quickly. Basic info could include: 1) Cabin number; for each member in your group 2) first name, 3) gender, 3) age (or "adult/child"); your choice to share what you're comfortable with. Just want this to be easy and fun!

Everyone is welcome to provide their ideas for this FE. The only guideline for participation at this time is that each cabin provide at least one gift to the other cabins during the cruise. You are welcome to gift each individual, or gift more than once on different days, and make this experience as magical as you want! This way we can accommodate everyone with different budgets, available time, and luggage space. It will be wonderful no matter how you contribute.

Looking forward to hearing from fellow cruisers... FE sign-ups or general cruise chat is welcome! I will check up on this thread at least weekly.

Suggestions are welcome if you feel strongly about group size one way or another.

Also, we recognize that some of you have signed up to participate in more than one FE group, here or elsewhere. That's totally fine! Just wanted to be sure that you're aware that the FE groups are separate so you will be committed to exchanging gifts for both lists.

I agree with a cap at 15-20, or splitting the group. It's just easier.

I like the 20 member cap!! It would help to know the max number of staterooms...I need to start on my goodies pretty soon due to some work and school things going on sept and October!!
