Disney Dream November 7, 2016

We are getting ready to book onto this cruise. It will be my DH, 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 1 grandson (he will be 14 months old) and one daughter's BF and his daughter. We are very excited. Three of us are first-time cruisers (DH, 1 daughter, and me).

Hi! I'm jennifer, we're booked with my DH, DS10, DS5 and my parents! DS10 took his first cruise (on the Wonder) with us when he was 4. He's been looking forward to going back to the kid's club ever since!

From what i have seen on other social media, there is a list where groups for the FE for this cruise will be 10 staterooms to a group. Sign ups have now begun for group 2. What i'm not sure of is if there will be 2 separate groups of FE's between the other social media group and a DIS group. That's up to the admin here on this DIS group to decide.
Looking forward to this trip. It will be our 7th Disney Cruise :)

This is our second time on the Disney Dream and we can not wait!!! Didn't know about fish extenders last time but really want to do it this time. Where can we sign up?

Hi, We just changed to this cruise!!! It will be our 9th DCL cruise. We love DCL and the Dream especially when combined with a couple of days at WDW. It will be me, DW, and 2 kids (DS12 and DD12), well maybe just DD12 because once we get on the ship all I hear from my son is "can I go to the club?"

We were scheduled to go Feb vacation week but decided that was too far out and our school district created a bonus vacation week by putting parent-teacher conference days, teacher development days and veterans day all in the same week.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is common knowledge or not (apologies if it is), but this cruise is the first Christmas cruise of the year for the dream. 2 years ago we were on the wonder the cruise before the first official christmas one, they were getting ready creating a giant gingerbread house. It should be neat seeing the lobby and castaway cay all decorated, even if it is a little early. I found some old navigators from previous years that showed some special events for the holidays. I should finally get to create a beach themed Christmas card.
Jeff.

I have been attempting to organize a Mixology class. If there is anyone interested the cost is $20 and DCL bills it directly to your stateroom account. Generally DCL schedules these at 2 or 4pm on the "Sea Day" in the Skyline Bar. Currently we have 18 people signed up but need a min of 25 with a max of 30. Please let me know if you are interested. I would need the names of those attending and the stateroom number.

I'm interested! Myself and my husband. Can I PM you? Is it too late?

For those of you who are DCL experts, please help! I'm panicking because the 90-day mark is coming fast (I've taken one other DCL cruise), and I don't feel confident about what to do. Can someone point me to a primer on how to book the hard-to-get activities? I'm already paid in full.
  • I'm on the East coast, so what time should I sit down with my computer at the 90-day point? Is it midnight?
  • once I'm on the DCL website and I've logged into my account, do I go to my activities?
  • knowing full well that the cabanas are long gone, where do I look for that anyway? Is it under my activities? Do I need to check in first?
  • I also want to try my luck for a Palo brunch, where do I go for that? Do I need to check in for my cruise before I do that?
Thanks!

I don't know of a primer. I know you need a disney cruise line login and your reservation id to link to your id if you have not done so already. Other than that I suggest you post these questions in the general cruise line board. The group is much wider and are always willing to help. I really want to help but I just think you would be better off trying the larger group first.

Hello! This will be our first time on a Disney cruise, and we are very excited. It will be my husband and I, and our three children. Ages 8, 4, and 3. We would like to participate in the fish extender exchange but I am a little confused on how to join. Any advice?
