I am happy to organize the FE for the cruise Doc. Can I just do that with this thread or do I need to do anything else so folks can find it?

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since it looks like no one has come forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to organize the FE right in this thread. There is certainly plenty of time to plan a Fish Extender here on the DIS and you already have a good core group! Have fun planning!

Hi Everyone! My family is going on this cruise as well! This will be our 2nd Dream cruise. (We did a November "Double-Dip" in 2014 and loved it so much we booked this one while on board!) We have two daughters, who will be 10 and 11 as of sailing date. They don't know yet that we're going, but I'm working on a fun "reveal" for them.

I will post links to the "reveal" video I did before our 2014 cruise, and the recently-thrown-together iMovie trailer I did for that trip as well. Right now I'm developing a fun new 2015 edition of a "reveal" video to surprise them with this year's plans. Apparently, I have to make everything dramatic.... ;-)

This will be our second cruise and we are supper excited. We would like to do FE this time but have no idea how to get started. We have two staterooms as there are 7 in our party. Already counting down the days!

The DW and I just booked this as our 5th Disney cruise. We will be looking into doing the FE this time. She is excited for the new Vanellope's Sweets & Treats area! I tried researching to find out but does anyone know if the Christmas decorations should be up on this cruise?

Is there an FE group organized here on DIS? This will be our second cruise, and our second FE experience, but I don't want to have to jump between sites and put info on Facebook/google docs/etc to participate. That takes too much time to jump around between sites, and I'm pretty sure that it violates DISBoard rules. Is anyone running an FE list right here in the group thread?

That's too bad. Not everyone does (or wants to do) FaceBook. I like the DisBoards, but detest FaceBook. I also dont want to break DIS rules, and responding to the PM pointing me somewhere else for an FE would have done that.

Ok then, if anyone wants to participate in a non-FaceBook FE, and just keep it simple and here on the DIS, post here and we'll get a DIS FE list going! if no one wants to do this, that's fine too, and my family will just "pixie dust" FEs that we see and I'll bring along gifts to surprise my kids. No worries either way.

Second Disney cruise. We took this same cruise a month ago and had to do it again! I will have 2 older kids in the vibe (14 and 17) so I plan on spending a lot of time at the quiet cove pool!!! I'm also hoping for Christmas decorations... all I have read says "late November". If anyone finds out let us know!! My number one recommendation after the last cruise is to get a rainforest pass!!!

Hi all! I was also interested in doing FE (Fish Extender) and would love to organize it! I was thinking that if you want to participate in the FE just leave the following information in the thread--

--State room number
--Genders and ages of people in your family/group
--Additional information (Names, allergies, etc.)


I was going to have the closing date be October 25th so everyone has enough time to prepare .

Also I was thinking that it may be good to do 2 or 3 groups depending on the how many participate (each group with maybe 10 families) so the budget does not go through the roof!

I will post all the information on the thread after the closing date so that we have an accurate number.

I am open to ANY suggestions and can't wait for our cruise! Bon Voyage!!!
