We would like to do the fish extenders... I haven't seen a listing for our cruise! This is my first cruise, I'm not really sure how this works!

FE are fun, you can get a lot of cool things if a lot of people participate. I made my own FE a few years back, pretty easy, but you can get a nice one on ebay without the stress of being crafty. Usually, there is a pocket for each person in your party. A list of people will be made and IM to each other so you know how many gifts to bring. While on the cruise participants randomly leave these gifts in the pockets of the FE which hangs on the metal fish next to you stateroom door.

Examples of items I got are highlighters, homemade photo frames (dated with cruise date). candy, pirate patches, post it notes, magnets from your state, first aide kit, stickers, wire ties, little disney items. Some people put a label with their disboard name on it so you know who it is from. Last cruise, I made a small treasure chest filled with pirate stuff and gave them out on the night of the pirate/firework celebration.

Again, it is fun but you need to plan it out because you must travel with the gifts. My kids loved coming back to the room and getting their surprise.

If you search the cruise forum, many people post pictures of FE and gifts. You can get really great ideas and some are super-crafty!!!!!!!!

My family will be on the May 1st cruise also! It will be my husband and I and our three boys ages, 1, 5, and 8. This is our first cruise and we are all so excited!! We have a cat. 4B room. We want to make sure to do as much as we can with a toddler in tow! Can't wait!! I love all things Disney. We have been to WDW four times in the last four years. I am so excited!!!

When it's 19 degrees as I leave work in the mornings, this seems all the better!!! I canot wait. I am still searching daily (a bit obsessed) for a different SR to save some money, but I have resigned myself tot eh fact that this may not happen. As we are travelling with neighbors, Hi Byejou!!, it is what it is...won't be changing dates! Really looking forward to staying at Beach Club for 2 days before as well.

Booked may 1, 2011. this is our first cruise and we are so excited! myself, DH, DD-9 and DS-5 (ages at sailing). Anyone else joining us. I would love to find some other people with kids prior to the cruise. I can't wait to read about the new ship next february.

Hello! I'm Julie and my family will be on this cruise. My DD will be 10 and my DS will be 6 at the time of sailing. Also, my 10 YO niece will be along. That will be my kids' 3rd cruise and my niece's first. Drop a line and say hello!

JUst wanted to say hi to the rest of the May 1 Dreamers! This will be our 4th cruise (the kids' 3rd) and we are so excited to be on the new ship. My in-laws and niece will also be with us. We will be at a timeshare the week before and are planning to stay on-site for almost a week after, but haven't made reservations yet.

Hi Guys! I've been surfing the threads and having so much fun. The new Dream pics are amazing. We are getting very excited about our first cruise. A little overwhelming, but still fantastic information! DH loves the food pics of course. I sure hope we will be able to get a ressie for Palo. It looks like both Palo and Remy are booking up fast.

We are booked! It will be myself (36) and my parents. This is their first cruise. I went on a Carnival cruise over 10 years ago but this is my first Disney cruise. There will be lots to learn between now and then. I am in for the fish extender thing. Is anyone organizing it yet? If not, I will volunteer but since I'm a newbie I'm not really sure of the best way to do that. Any veterans have any advice? Let's do this thing! Woo hoo!!

Welcome Julie!! Our kids are close in age; when we cruise, our dau will be 9 and our son 7. We just took our 1st DCL trip in 11-10, and we are hooked. I am excited about going on the Dream. We are travellling with our neighbors who have similarly aged kids. We are staying at the Beach Club for 2 nights before the trip as well.

The weather here in NJ stinks!!! I had to come home from work this am in ice...no fun at all. I am SO looking forward to this vacation.

100 days! Wow! I need to make our count down calendar. I forgot to list my kids ages earlier. At time of travel, DS (10) and DD (7). We are SO EXCITED! We too, are wanting warmer weather. Even here in Texas we've had the artic freeze for over a week. We finally got back into the 50's this week. So yes, I've been DREAMing of chillin in the sun on CC!
