Disney Dream June 24, 2012 5 Night Bahamian

Hi everyone,
We are booked on this cruise as well! Myself, DH, DS (5) and DD (3). So excited! We would definitely be interested in joining in on the FE fun if there are others interested as well! June 2012 can't come fast enough! :cool1:

Nothing has been discussed yet in regards to FE. I said that I wasn't interested but for you all to go ahead. Could change my mind as the cruise gets closer but for now it's just too much for my brain with all the other stuff I've got going on.

I'd love to do an FE, but we decided to move up to concierge level this cruise (we moved the cruise from Alaska, and it was the same price, so I said why not?) -- I have read that you really can't do an FE on decks 11 and 12 due to the gates being locked -- so that leaves us out for this cruise :sad2:

But I do have a nice spreadsheet already made from another FE organization that I had on another cruise if someone wants it, I'd be willing to email it to them.
 
I would be up for an FE. i guess my next question is, how do i fit all this in my luggage along with our pirate costumes and dress clothes for dress up night?:confused: (Advice greatly appreciated;))

I may be willing to organize the FE if someone can explain what's involved in more detail. I've just read a little bit online so I get the general idea, but I would want to make sure I'm doing it right. Details anyone?
 
We have always put everything in our luggage and made the "goodie" bags on board, so everything goes in flat essentially. I always thought I would have lots of extra space to bring things home, but somehow, we were always more full on the return trip. :confused3

All the groups I have participated in did it a bit differently although they all used a spreadsheet to track participants, names and ages of kids, cabin number and contact info if desired. There was one person who either put a list on their door with any last minute changes, or that info was circulated at an on board meet up on embarkation day - people hit the lounge and actually meet each other. Someone here offered a sample spreadsheet I think.
 
Triptaker, I tried to send you a PM to request your FE spreadsheet but apparently I don't have enough posts yet to use that feature. :confused3

I guess the main thing I'm not getting is does everyone just give out their gifts whenever they feel like it, meaning potentially everybody gives their gifts on the first day, or does everyone get assigned a day on which to deliver their gifts to spread the gifts out over the five days?

Everyone just delivers when they want to. The last one we did, we delivered at the time we knew we wanted and sent DD out to deliver :santa:

I think we had 35 people so there was never a time when our FE was not overflowing.

Sure, why not! Gives me something to focus my Disney energy on for the next 10 months besides trying to get my big patootie in swimsuit-ready shape! :rotfl:

Yeah - you need to go around this site and post 3 more posts (if nothing else just a thank you for this info) so that you can do private messages LOL! You can even post three here in a row if you'd like - we will not mind (as I speak for everyone haha)....
