Happy Easter

Hoping to start making my prototype for the FE gifts today. We are 46 days until we leave for WDW. 50 days until the cruise.

HAPPY EASTER FELLOW CRUISERS!!

No plans for today...made pancakes and sausage for breakfast...tried to make the pancakes look like bunnies...I guess I wasn't successful as no one mentioned it! LOL Oh well. Steve's Aunt sent us a Chicken Pot Pie so we are going to have that for dinner! I thought it a bit odd that she sent us a CPP, but I guess it was featured on the Oprah show and it is suppose to be THE best!! We'll see! We had bought an apple pie for dessert earlier in the week, so we'll have pie today!
Once again, it is raining....it's getting to be too much! Roads are flooding over. So far, we haven't been too affected...one road was closed a few weeks ago that had me turning around and going the long way. However, the grass and plants are going crazy and look so lush and healthy! We are expected to get 3-4 more INCHES this week. I guess I should be thankful it's not snow...but living in the rain forest isn't all that great either. I'm waiting for the mosquitos to start. Ugh...it will be awful!!!
The Easter Bunny brought the boys boxer shorts with skulls and cross bones on them. Colton said, "Pirate night?" I said, "Yes!" He said, "Should I just put these in "The Box"?" LOL I said, no, you can wear them! LOL
Time to get a shower and get moving. Wishing you and your families a blessed Easter!

Hope everyone has a Super Mickey Easter. Kind of sad this is the first year all the Grandkids said no to an Egg Hunt. Oh well Make-up and dresses are neat too.
FIL Birthday party yesterday was great 39 family members showed up and bless Mother Nature we had a great sunny day so it was held in the back yard much better then in my small house.

Thanks for the replies. We will check into Travel Guard for insurance, and we'll just arrive at the port early! Happy Easter my friends. Jesus is Alive!

I just checked my credit card and noticed that DCL has refunded us $14 and some change between the two cabins we have booked. That was a nice little surprise! :flower3: I tried on shorts today so I can start getting a list together of things we need. It is getting closer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

That's funny. When I come home from the store with stuff like lotion, hairspray, or anything like that, my DD will say "Is this for now or for the trip?"

We don't have an official "box" , but about 4 of those recycle cloth bags full of stuff!

We got back $6, I thought we must have overpaid....I guess the taxes got adjusted.

We too got the credit...have no idea what for....but I would have gladly taken that in Stateroom Credit! Could use it for a drink or two!!! :thumbsup2

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We went to brunch today with my parents and had a great time. It was a good day for my mom:) (which doesn't happen so often anymore with the Alzheimers:sad1:) She even decided she wanted her picture taken with the Easter Bunny as other adults were doing it too:lovestruc

Sorcerer Mickeys please check your email as I have sent out another updated FE list with several changes.

Admiral Donalds, I have not had any updates to your list, so the last list sent is current :thumbsup2

I have been up to my eyeballs in IEP's. I had 5 in the last 2 weeks and 3 more this week, so it is nuts at work:upsidedow as I have no planning time to write them.

I de-stress by "Dreaming" and adding things to our "box"!

Ready for June!!!:beach::beach:

We are just back from a visit to friends in Virginia. Lots of driving for only a day and a half, but fun anyways.

Tomorrow is Monday....the last Monday in April! Almost May...June is not far away! :yay:

This is the week I start the FE project...I actually am crafty so hopefully my homemade contribution will please!

And for me this is the week to order any summer clothes online and get them here in time to try, wash and pack.

Wouldn't it be nice to just have three days off with no responsibilities to get cruise stuff ready and read the boards? :rotfl:

Happy Week to all!

Irene

Hi everyone and happy Monday. Hope that everyone had a great Easter. We are in the midst of choas at our house in that we decided to turn a simple repainting of our kitchen into replacing the appliances, cabinets, and countertops. From what Lowes said, we will be in flux for about a month...I'm sure by the time its done we'll be so ready for our cruise!! But, I will say that in cooking Easter dinner with the new stove I noticed a huge difference. We had the builder grade stove which was 8 years old, so the new one we got is a huge improvement.

I've updated everyone's GTY assignments on the first page. I think I got everyone, but please just shoot me a PM if I missed you. Have a great week everyone! :goodvibes

:scared1: Well that size of a project ought to make the next few weeks go by quickly for you! :thumbsup2 I'm hoping to do the same next year.

My little group still has a few rooms available at the Country Inn & Suites for the night before the cruise. The rate includes parking and the shuttle (and it's an awesome rate). Please let me know if you haven't booked your pre-stay. :)

It's getting so close, we're getting super excited! Hope everyone has a great week!

Happy Monday everyone!

Finally caught up on the thread LOL. Had a busy weekend. Got started on FE gifts, got some shopping done for the cruise although my husband and daughter haven't started going thru their stuff yet. I know that last week we'll be running around last minute trying to find them stuff :headache:

Read that thread about the family that missed the cruise due to flight delays and finally got my trip insurance. We're flying in the night before but don't arrive until 11pm. That has me a bit worried. We're on Southwest so I may try to change it but the departure time just works so well for us. I used Trip Insurance Store for mine. A little weird how we had to set it up with Rowan staying an extra week in Florida with my dad. The policy they recommended for us they specifically recommended due to better weather related problems coverage. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that its something we won't have to use but if we do we'll be okay. And I am definately calling them the second our flight gets delayed, if it does.

Wow nice! New kitchen! I could have done that or cruised.... cruise( or any other vacations) always seem to win out in my home over improvements.
Wish I could do both, but love my vacations!:goodvibes

Morning everyone,,,,, latest update. Anybody else interested in joining or have participant numbers for me?
Bill

Hi 3DAN,

There will be #1 participating from the Principessa group!

Thanks for organizing this. I was thrilled to see the time - 2pm on our Sea Day, since that actually works out for me! Where do you think we will gather to start the tour?

Irene

Hi everyone. I hope this finds everyone doing well. I have a question. Does anyone know what the dress codes for each night will be? For example, how many casual nights, and will we have a semi formal as well as a formal night? I assume there will be a Pirate Night.....

My DD's BF is cruising with us and I am trying to put together a list of clothing for him, so that if he needs to go shopping, he can do so in plenty of time. Who am I kidding, I am sending the packing list to his mom so she has plenty of time to get his clothes together. Haha.

Thanks for the help!:goodvibes

Hello everyone!!!

Just so we can be added to the list:

angieleia - Angie & Bob

We are celebrating our first cruise and Honeymoon!!!

Welcome, Angie. Congrats on your wedding! My DH and I did did our first cruise (Disney Magic) for our honeymoon too. You'll have a blast!

Stephanie and I had a honeymoon for our first cruise too. We loved it. The waitress teased us about needing a high chair on our next cruise. Welcome aboard. Ironically, she was right.
