Disney Dream - June 12, 2011

Wow, that's great.... on both accounts.... the cousins and the AC:thumbsup2
Hey, tell me how that movie is, it looks good.

Rose, didn't get to the movie. Connor had a friend spend the night, then they went to his house, I went to Walmart and made Pasta E Fagioli for dinner. YUM-O! Just been puttering around the house for most of the day.

WELCOME Mamiamjo! Can't wait!!!

Good Morining Everyone!

I recently bought an Amazon Kindle electronic book reader and just finished reading Sean Payton's book "Home Team: Coaching the Saints and New Orleans Back to Life". I am probably biased because I live just north of New Orleans and love "My Saints", but this was really a great book. Getting ready to also read Drew Brees's book "Coming Back Stronger". I'm sure it will be just as good.

Getting more and more excited every day about the cruise.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

"Who Dat" and "Go Saints"!!!!!

Good Morning everyone,
I like the "split up into smaller groups idea." I wonder if we could split up by decks or something. There are several who haven't listed their cabin number yet (like myself), but here is the breakdown so far:

Deck 2 = 1 cabin
Deck 5 = 1 cabin
Deck 6 = 7 cabins
Deck 7 = 19 cabins
Deck 8 = 8 cabins
Deck 9 = 8 cabins
Deck 10 = 1 cabin
Deck 12 = 2 cabins
Unlisted = 33 cabins

Looks like deck 7 is a "happening" deck. ;) :goodvibes
I know it was hard to go up and down decks on the Magic and Wonder to get to all of the fish extenders, I can only imagine how tiring it would be on the Dream. Maybe we could divide up into subgroups according to the deck or decks. :confused3 I would think the number of cabins per deck would even out a little better after everyone (that wanted to participate) listed their cabin number.

Just my 2 cents for the day . . . Hope everyone has a great day!

Great work on the breakdown -- I definitely agree that we should be able to do something that makes sense.

The A/C repair was pretty painless! Just needed a new part...looked like a tin can...compressor? Compassitor? I don't remember, but it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be! and they weren't here but 20 mins? Love it!

I'm sure that's such a relief (we, too, had to make the call to get our A/C repaired a couple of weeks ago and I was very happy with the bill). ;)

With DD16 & DS13 in cat 4C
Can't wait, less than 11 months to go:)

Welcome! I'll get you guys added to the first page. :goodvibes

"Who Dat" and "Go Saints"!!!!!

Sorry - - this struck me as funny this morning and I thought it deserved another posting. :lmao:

My son has the Sony reader and loves it, but rarely uses it. He's just a gadget and computer geek so that's what he wanted for Christmas last year.
But it does come in handy for him for college. Some of his books for school come in the ereader edition:thumbsup2

I don't read books as often a I listen to them.
My job in CFS(central forwarding system) in the Post Office has me sitting and keying mail most of the day.
I discovered that the library also loans out mp3books!:yay::woohoo:
I'm going through about a book every day or two, combined with my NPR news podcast, WDW radio podcasts, DIS podcasts and such.

What I did get a message from Amazon today was that you can now preorder Disney's Waking Sleeping Beauty movie at a lower cost:yay:
I can't wait to see this! They never released it around here.
It doesn't come out till November though, but I'm going on Amazon now!

I'm not sure if this bothers anyone new, but could you post your names as well? I like to address people with their names sometimes instead of their screen names and if I see you around the ship I'd rather call you by your real name as well.

BTW I'm Rose if anyone new hasn't noticed.

Perhaps I'll put that in my signature as well to make it easier:goodvibes

There, now everyone knows my name as well.
Thanks Crystal for the idea of a fancy signature:thumbsup2

Thanks for posting your name Rose! It is hard to keep everyone straight! guess my initials at the end of my name really don't help much! :confused3

I really like the idea of splinting up the FE's, will help keep the cost down too!:cool1:

Looks like when I do tell my kids, they will have lots of friends from this group! pretty neat!

We saw Despicable Me on Saturday, oh and I just say I really want some minons! lol They are soo cute!
Took my crew to Wet Zone today, and none of us got sunburned! YAY!:lmao:
I just discovered the Dis Radio, have to say, it's making me Happy! lol

Oh did anyone else get a Castaway Club flyer yesterday? Course already knew all the 'news' in it, but Disney mail is my favorite kind of mail!!

Hey everyone. Ds and I had a busy day. He wanted to go driving, so we went to many places today...LOL. Recycling center, Lunch at Chick-a-fil, got gas, stopped at Dunkin Donuts to get donuts for tomorrow, the cemetary to check on the flowers for my dad, and winn dixie. Normally my teenage ds would complain about all that, but since he was driving he was a happy camper.

I haven't got anything from Disney yet on the cruise. (just the receipt for deposit and room #).

As of today, my family is booked on this cruise too. It will be our third cruise (2001 & 2008). My name is Kevin, my wife Lori, and our 2 sons Stephen (20) and Mark (17). We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and our son's high school graduation. We are already so excited to be on the new boat! Castaway Cay here we come!

Welcome,This to is our third Cruise, also celebrating our sons graduation Zac(17), he will just have turned 18 a couple of weeks before we sail. Starchef (Mike) DW (Beth) along with Jacob and Alexis.

We survived the week of scout camp and right back into to work again. It was brutally hot at camp, mid week it was 102 degrees at 5 pm. That being done, air conditioning is a great thing.

Hi...I'm new to this forum! I just booked our cruise this week. I'm WDWCrazzyCunninghams sister-in-law. My hubby (37) and I (36) are taking our 3 DD's...8, 9, and 12 at the time of the cruise. This will be our first cruise and we're all pretty excited. We will be celebrating my parents 50th anniversary and my niece's birthday. :cool1: We're from Houston, TX!

I'd love to see Despicable Me, but I haven't even seen Toy Story3 yet.
Seems like lately I wait till it comes out on Red Box DVD for $1.

Haven't gotten anything from CC.
