Awwwww, congratulations! So, so, so precious!

WOW - I needed that this morning! :cloud9:

To all of our new cruisers, I *think* I got everyone, but if I missed someone, please feel free to email me. Things have been insane for me at work these past couple of weeks so I haven't been able to hang on The DIS very much. :sad2: I hope everyone has a great week! :grouphug:

My 10 year old just finished her scuba certification yesterday. Now she will be able to go diving when we are in Nassau! I am so proud of her!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Woo Hoo...11 months to go!!! We're so excited:cool1::yay::cheer2::dance3::cloud9:

Dh and I were talking about ways to save money now for the cruise, and to save money ON the cruise. Last time we got the water bottles (I have to have the water...i drink SO much of it). We ordered ONE case...and THREE were delivered. Also, someone was trying to get in our room, and kept telling my DH to "hold on a minute, this is our room...the key just isn't working" on the first day...we were already in the room and partially unpacked:confused: We figured they must have ordered the two cases of water, added to our one case. LOL

So this year I"m going to bring a pitcher/filter and a few bottles and/or a big reusable bottle. We ended up keeping 2 of the boxes of water and used them all on a 7 night cruise...so this will be a big savings.

Also, we are going to try not to get a lot of pictures from shutters. Last year, we got the biggest package I think...we just kept upgrading to a bigger package...:headache: We spent a lot of time in lines for pictures, and we love the ones we got, but don't want to do that again!

It's so exciting to see so many people joining in!! and OMG, I LOVED the link on the Dream pictures! I never even thought you could go tour the construction site!, that's just awesome!!!

abitagirl916, congrats on the new grandbaby! she's beautiful!!

I almost spilled last week!! I was chatting with my friend about SouthWest Air, and almost said that "it was going to be so much easier to fly SW next summer!" :rotfl: but I saved myself at the last moment, cause dd10 would have been all over that comment!! :rotfl2:

I found really cute Mickey washcloths at Target today!! just had to share! ::MickeyMo

Congrats and Welcome to all the new members to the post and to the family. I have been at CSR for the past week with my DS(11). Scout camp, 100 degree heat everyday. Camping is great fun for us, miserable at 100 degrees, we are glad to be home back to civilization. Being without air conditioning, cell phone, internet, etc... sure makes us realize the gratitude for what we have. 2 weeks of work coming up and then off to visit my oldest DS(17) at the 2010NJ at Fort AP Hill. Then an actual vacation down to the beach.

Ugg! Too hot! But glad you survived it ok. Camping sure is fun!
I like camping too, but if and when we go this year I will have to have my Droid phone with me. I have to DIS don't I?:surfweb::rotfl:

I know what you mean...LOL We've had a veranda for our other 2 cruises and it's hard to give it up. We could if we HAD to, but we are doing everything we can to not have to :-)

Awesome! We got what we wanted at BLT...a standard view studio, since we won't be in the room much those two days!! :wizard:

We have officially hit the 11 month point!!!! :) We booked our night at the Boardwalk for the night before the cruise yesterday!!! Can't wait for it to get here!!!

You lucky ducky's for staying in such awesome hotels!

:thumbsup2
I'll have to do that part on the cheap in order to pay for my verandah room on the ship.

Thanks Crystal for doing all that:flower3:

I thought the water was perfectly fine right from the tap.

And I agree about the pics. All the ones we've bought are mostly all still
sitting in the folders we bought them in.
So it wasn't worth it.
We take out our albums more.

She sure is! Her open water dives were in a lake and I keep telling her how different ocean diving is.

Especially when the water is nice and clear:cloud9:

I got spoiled by all those beautiful waters in the Caribbean and also in Bermuda,
I don't want to go in water anymore that I can't see through.
Fish might come out and touch me and I won't see them coming:eek: EEEEEWWWWW
(I like them to keep a safe distance away from me. I admire only from afar):rolleyes1

I don't know how you can do it.
I'd have spilled the beans long ago. Good for you:thumbsup2

I agree Rose. I would never be able to keep it a secret. This cruise is a graduation celebration for my daughter, but she knows about it because I was just too excited to keep it a secret. But it's nice to be able to plan the cruise along with her and see how excited she is too.

I think the water is OK from the tap...that is what I have been reading. I think I have a mental block when it comes to that. But not enough to spend that amount of money again!!! We already have a smaller water pitcher at home...so If i still feel the need, I'll bring it with us...LOL

Oh my...good catch...LOL I don't know how I'm going to keep this a secret!!! Ds has been on the Wonder and the Magic and has been begging us to go on the Dream. This will be the first time we will be on the cruise on his actual bday. He likes to plan somewhat, and do some research so I will tell him before the cruise is here...but I am at least trying to wait until the first of the year. :rolleyes1

Good Morning fellow Cruisers,
I see by some tickers that we're 10 months 4 weeks and 2 days away! :boat:

My find for this week is magnetic dry erase boards for $1 at Staples. I also began stocking up on magnetic sheets for door decorations. :thumbsup2 Should've bought the magnetic sheets online for less money, but I had reward dollars to spend at Staples.

Have we decided on doing Fish Extender Gifts yet? If we do, we'll certainly get our exercise on this cruise with more decks to find people on. ;) I'm counting about 78 cabins  :cool1: as of today (including my little sub-group of 9 cabins not listed on the first page).

What does everyone else think about doing Fish Extenders?

Have we decided on doing Fish Extender Gifts yet?

I was also wondering about this, and with so many of us, are we going to divide into "groups" for the FE?

Is there plans yet for us to have a big "Dis-meeting"? That would be fun!

Can't wait to celebrate my DD's 16th on the Cruise!!! We're trying to plan a day or two at Disney before the cruise. We're thinking of doing something different such as Cirque Du Soleil and a Disney waterpark, which we haven't done yet.

Hello Fellow Cruisers!!

Welcome to the newest cruisers to our group! and Welcome to Tammy's granddaughter! Just adorable!!!

We will be adding ONE more room to our list!! Steve's sister and her family...Shawn and Michelle Weaver and their 3 girls...room 8108. Shawn is finally employed again after 9 months, so they booked last night when we saw them! Here is a photo of all the cousins.

Colton, Paige, Alexis, Sydney..front row is Connor, Brendie and Dana

Maybe we can have a dismeet and group photo in the atrium? I have seen large groups line the staircase to get the photo taken. Heck, I might just have to do that for my family photo! LOL We can also ask at Shutters to have a photog take the photo and have them available for purchase. We had one taken on Secret Deck 7, but now we won't have a Secret Deck 7 to do that! We'll figure it out!!

waiting on the a/c repair man. The downstairs unit is not working right, so it's not as cool down here...tolerable, but not like it should be. Here's hoping it's a fairly inexpensive fix!!!

I hope this finds everyone happy and healthy!!!!
Michele

How cool...our son is turning 16 on the cruise (june 14th) What a great way to celebrate their birthdays, huh? We are goign to stay two days before the cruise and two days after, but only going to the parks for one day...we have 3 free park hopper tickets to use for that day!!

That is great that you are adding another room!!! I think it would be cool to have a group picture taken!!

DH has stated that he doesn't want us to do the FE this time, we spent so much time last year going around and giving them out and since this is a new ship we want to experience everything. If we split up in groups, he may change his mind...will have to wait and see.
