Do you have to be in a group to participate in the whole process, or do other people also have fish extenders that aren't in organized groups?

Hi there, I am sorryI am so late finding out about FE's. Is it too late to join? I do have my gifts (I think) but hada few questions. Are you supposed to give gifts 1x per day on the cruise or more? The meet and greet is at 3pm on embarkation day in Vista Cafe(mid-ship, deck 4 I think). The meet and greet is for everyone, not just FE people.
