We are so excited. We are exploring the rooms on the new ship. We booked back when prices were low and got some other family members to book last week. It was more than double the price. Disney has mastered supply/demand.

On our first cruise, Mar'10, Castaway Cay was cancel due to weather, so i promised then to my little princesses, 7 and 4 - as of Jan'12, we will be back - i promise. So we're setting sail on Jan 3 - 5 for two stops. See ya there...

Hey...are we going to make a list for FEs soon? I'd like to make stuff...but I need to get started while I'm out of school for the summer! (Homeschooling moms like summer vacation even more than the kids, do, you know!)

I'd be happy to manage the list if someone experienced doesn't want to have at it first.

Hello everyone... We will be also going on this cruise. Please add us to the list for the FE game. It is me(Deb), DH(Alex) and DD(14). This will be our 5th Disney Cruise, 3 on the Magic and 1 on the Wonder.

I saw a few post about people using their DVC points for this cruise, when I asked they told me that this cruise has not been made available to DVC yet. Just wondering how you did it.

Welcome, Deb. Our DCL history is nearly identical as we have also done 3 on the Magic and 1 on the Wonder. Our 5th will be on the Dream on the sailing right before this. We're doing a B2B, first part using DVC points and the second we're paying for (but we booked it on our last cruise in January this year to get the discount).

I'm wondering if they used up their allocation of DVC cabins for this cruise and closed it to further bookings unless need be demands it open. Which may be unlikely as it's very full up now. When I booked the cruise before this(the NYE cruise), I did so as a self pay and changed it directly after our cruise to get the discounted point value. The agent said she was surprised that there were still DVC cabins available -- but it was almost a year in advance. Either way, I got lucky!

Our DD will turn 18 two weeks before we sail on 12/29 but is still a high school student and will be going to The Vibe so will probably meet your DD.

I was able to book using my DVC point but as mentioned, i booked it early last year for this sailing. Even then it was very limited in the cabin options. The DCL showed which cabin was open and i would immediately call DVC and within the 10 minutes the cabin I wanted was gone. So i had to settle on the cabin location, but now looking back....prob very lucky got a cabin for the 4 of us. It is just amazing how booked this cruise is.

We just booked (me and DH) for a back to back on Jan 3rd and Jan 8. I see we are not the only ones doing that!

I sooooooo can't wait for this cruise. I have been looking at my scrapbook from our last cruise OVER and OVER. January 3rd, why are you so far?

My wife Melissa and I will be on this one as well.

We're actually doing back-to-backs with this cruise and the one prior, so we will be on the Dream for 10 nights over 2 cruises including New Years Eve.

For this cruise we will be in a 00T, room 11020 (however I'm hoping to move our room to one of the 00Ts on deck 12 presuming someone cancels). We will be moving our stuff from a 04D on deck 6 so we'll be busy that morning as well - just not in the terminal

We actually arrive into MCO on 12/26/11 and are staying 3 nights at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando before driving out to the port on 12/29 for the first of the back-to-backs.

Oh, we're from Michigan too. Ann Arbor. Go Blue!
