Just sent you a PM -- if you can't respond, as I said, just email me and I'll respond with the files :thumbsup2

And dude, there are not enough adjectives to describe how excited I am! :dance3:

I figured as much. Just wanted to make sure I didn't lose out on a day of cruising :goodvibes

Definitely! I know it'll be short enough already!

Here's another one I finished -- I don't have this one set up to be personalized, so feel free to download it and use :goodvibes

Got my docs yesterday! Wish they'd tell me which stateroom I'm in--but I'm hoping for a nice surprise!

Our gang is getting REALLY excited! I have 21 days til I'm in a plane off the enjoy the World for a week prior to the cruise! Woo hoo!!!:dance3:

I haven't gotten our cruise docs yet - hoping they come today!

I also booked a massage for the At Sea day and I cannot wait. After a week walking around WDW, then the cruise, I will definitely enjoy that massage!

Random question - I saw that you could sign-up for personal training sessions, but I was wondering if anyone knows if they Spin classes onboard? I know - who wants to exercise while on vacation? But, I really love Spinning and I figure going for an hour will help make-up for all the food and drink I plan to have! ;)

Orca - LOVE your designs!

We are also looking forward to leaving. While we are leaving a little later than you 27 days compared to 21 we are excited nonetheless.

As for the spin class question...Yes, they do offer spin classes run by one of the trainers. You can go to the gym and find out the schedule of classes they are running during the cruise. They also offer many other different classes, both physical and lectures.

Don't worry, the wife and I hit the treadmill everyday also. While it can't do away all the food and drink we pack away at least it makes us less guilty :rolleyes1

Thanks for the shopping tips Orca, I knew a local would steer me in the right direction! We will have a hire car, so hopefully will be able to venture further afield for a shopping expedition - if I can talk the husband into it.

Phil - we have rented a villa in Davenport on a golf course - we have it booked from 29th Dec to 26th Jan (which is Australia Day, for the trivia lovers). Looks like we'll be spending a similar amount of time in Orlando as you. How lovely for your daughter to go on this Cruise with you, I hope she has a well earned rest. You are definitely experts at all things Disney and Florida - no doubt I'll have plenty of questions for you. Now only 9 days until we leave!

We also got our cruise documents in the mail this week! We are in 7604 and 7606 I think - two adjoining rooms. Which means I am making 2 FE's ( please don't laugh at them, my first sewing project!). The children have been enjoying helping me find inexpensive things to put in everyone's FE. They love the concept!

Meeting up sounds fun, I will try to get there to meet my friends inside the computer in real life. :-)

If anyone was wondering I emailed Disney and this is what they told me about the movies:

We are pleased to offer first run films in the Buena Vista Theatre for
you and your family to enjoy during your cruise. Here is the list of
our current offerings:
-Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2D & 3D)
-Cars 2 (2D & 3D)
-Winnie the Pooh
-The Help
-Fright Night (2D & 3D)
-Real Steel
-The Muppets Prem-Ear 11/23

All entertainment is subject to change and may not be offered on all
sailings. Please check your Personal Navigator (onboard newsletter)
once onboard for details.

Mandy: My girls (twins) will be turning 5 on this cruise!:cool1: I'm sure they would love to meet Sophia and they, along with my 3.5 year old son (who might as well be 5, he hangs with his sisters so much.. Lol) would probably have a blast!

We should start a FE/gift exchange thread...

My family of 5 is Me(Raichael), DH(Darren), DD's(Jacinda & Tiana)5, DS(Ben)3.5

We're Soooo excited, it's our first trip to Disney, AND our first 'real' cruise! DH and I have done day cruises in AK, and I took a little boat from Seattle to Whittier AK once, but they weren't touristy type cruises so I don't really count them... Lol

-Raichael
Raichael,
Sorry it took me so long to reply. We are so excited about the trip. Sophie will be so excited to meet your twins and Ben.
Mandy

Not sure if this is how to do it but...

Should we limit it to the kids?

What's the typical budget per child?

Sign up by 12/31/11? (need time to shop for the "booty")

This list surprises me a little. For one, what is Fright Night doing on there? It's an R rated movie, didn't know they played them on DCL, but more so it's not even a Disney Production Co film. It's distributed by Dreamworks.

Also, the big question mark for me, not that I feel the need to see it, is that Beauty and the Beast is not the list of movies being shown. Disney is re-releasing the movie on January 13th and in 3D. Wonder what's up?

That sounds like an outdated list. Notice "The Muppets Prem-Ear 11/23" ... and like pp said, Beauty and the Beast 3D is not listed, which will be released on 01/13. I heard that the best time to contact DCL to see which movies will be offered is a week prior to sailing. Personally, I'm hoping Tin Tin will be offered as I really want to see it and doubt I'll be doing so prior to the cruise!

I've been trying to find out what a more accurate movie listing for our sailing will be, without actually contacting DCL. Judging by what's currently on board, we can probably expect films produced by Dreamworks in addition to Disney. This includes upcoming releases like War Horse and maybe We Bought a Zoo (since their latest franchise deal with Avatar was produced by Fox) in addition to Beauty and the Beast 3D. Tin Tin is produced by Paramount Pictures, so I'm kinda sad that it'll likely not be on board. I'm sure once people return from the holiday cruises, we'll get reports of what's available when we're at sea.

I like that philosophy! :thumbsup2

I wish I could participate in the Fish Exchange, but I can't really spare much extra change. I can, however, make you guys privy to some of the DISigns I'm making for my door. If you like them, feel free to ask and I'll personalize them for you.

Geez I hope I have that list right. Work keeps interrupting my count and cruise prep. Don't these people know there's nothing else on my mind right now?
If they want any productivity, they'll just have to wait until February.
(I'm hoping the color scheme helps me keep count more easily)
