BTW, we just got back from a 5 day Bahama on the Wonder. The day we got to Castaway they opened the new side of the island for the first time. The CM told us they have doubled the size of the usable space of the island. DS loved the new slide. Great fun!

Hi Bats! I've pretty much decided to take DCL transport in from WDW. It sounds like the port is going to be very, very busy first thing in the morning, so getting there a little later after the lines die down might not be a bad idea (at least to my thinking). And if there's any kinks with the first sailing of paid guests on the new ship, I would prefer to be in Disney's hands the whole time.


(Ok, ok, ok... I admit - I also love the video they show on the busses and how its timed to say "and soon your ship will appear" and *poof* there's your ship!)

No, I think there's generally one bus run from each resort. Last time, our bus left around noon (but we were the last pickup) so we got there around 1:30.

My plan is to bring a carrier bag of spare clothes and leave my suitcase empty of goodies!!!

Have paid some more off the balance tonight .. only just over $1000 to go .. yikes! May have to ask our TA if she can look out for an inside cabin when the pay date comes round, maybe do a swap to save money. We have a Cat 9a booked (No room number yet), but maybe someone in an inside cabin will cancel before full payment is due.

Does anyone have firm plans on getting to PC yet if not by car? Mick and I won't have a car but would really like to be at PC early in the morning. Being in the UK, it would be difficult for me to organise a coach/bus to take people as I don't know what companies are good/fairly priced .. is there someone on here that would be able to look into it please? I'm sure there would be a few of us interested.

Well we're definitely onboard since we're paid in full for this cruise. Now we're working on paying off the LA/Alaska B2B.
