Another cold day in SoCal - but not as cold as most of the rest of the country. More rain scheduled for tonight - so much for the "It never rains in California" theory.

Here in Kent, England we had about 12 degrees today. Not bad but won't get a white christmas at this rate!

Wish I could get away from this cold weather! Drove in to work this morning and it was -16 and they said with the wind chill it was -32.

We hear ya up here in WY,

Hi Everyone! I've been MIA. We got back from WDW on Monday. Whew! Whirlwind Plus. Such Fun... We even had Mickey drop by for a special visit!

I'm sure everyone here has been busy too!!!

We got to stay in a BLT GV and AKL Jambo GV. With 10 family members to plan for the GVs came in handy! Seriously though with 3 parents in their 80's this was quite a trip... complete with wheelchair derbys

We also celebrated my 10th year cancer-free with a party complete with family and friends... and Mickey. I am so glad to have reached that milestone!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying the season, and finding time to CELEBRATE in the midst of all the hustle and bustle!

P.S. SCOTT... YES! LET'S RENT A BUS!!!

Us too! Though we had to cancel church today because of all the snow Hate to do that the Sunday before Christmas, we had the kid's program planned, etc. Oh well, here's praying for a clear Christmas Eve

Nice weekend in SoCal. I actually got on the bike and put in a few miles. Then went wine tasting today. Lots of fun!

WOW! Did we get clobbered yesterday with SNOW! It looks like we will finally have a White Christmas

We got out our brand new snowblower to help with the 12 to 14 inches of the white stuff... and couldn't get it to spark! I worked on getting it started while Joe started shoveling by hand.

A neighbor came to our rescue. Our folks have a very LONG lane up to the road (150 yards). We would still be shoveling if it weren't for our neighbor!

After a nice SoCal weekend, it's turned cloudy today - it might even rain. I guess it must be winter here also.

Well, the UK has come to a standstill as we've had about 3-5 inches of snow!!! We're so not used to it, everything stops!

Our road was impassible for a couple of days but we have a 4 wheel drive so managed to get out, others weren't so lucky. People were abandoning their vehicles by the side of the road, around 70 people slept in a department store last night as they couldn't get home (they all slept in the bed dept apparently!!)

The snow and ice around us has now started melting into that nasty dirty grey slush, but we're due to have some more snow before Christmas, so who knows if we'll have a white Christmas or a mushy grey one!!

From here in the UK to everyone over the 'frozen' pond ... have a very Merry Christmas.

After talking to friends at DAP last week we're going to try and book the Alaska repo/inaugural Alaska run while onboard- wish us luck(or send money- either one!)

Christmas Day is our At Sea day. We have Palo brunch at 10:30.

Can't wait to see the decorations and I hear there's special menus for the holidays. This is our first cruise over Christmas.

We did the 10 day Christmas cruise back in 2004 (I think it was 2004). It was great fun. As I recall, we were at St. Thomas on Christmas Day.
