Disney Dream come True 8/28/2011

We got back Sunday morning exhausted from MK the day before. I'd like to thank everyone for their great and unique FE gifts! And Debbie for letting me join her for that wonderful Palo brunch & for joining me on the tequila tasting ! To Karin & Tom you guys rock! Like Debbie said you guys are my heroes. I enjoyed every minute of the cruise especially the time spent with other DIS'ers.

Now just 354 days until my next cruise!

Hello everyone!

We just returned last night from our amazing vacation and I am exhausted.

We stayed at WDW 5 nights before the cruise and then stayed 3 nights at Universal Orlando after the cruise.

The Dream was absolutely amazing. We hated to get off the ship. I couldn't resist booking another cruise while onboard .

I am so sorry that I did not get to meet anyone . I tried to find everyone during the Sail Away party but I didn't see any signs and I couldn't remember where we were supposed to meet.

I didn't get the invite for the 3pm meet on the 30th until I returned to the cabin later that night. I was really looking forward to meeting everyone.

I would like to thank everyone for all of the wonderful FE gifts we received!!! They were all amazing. I really enjoyed coming back to the cabin and finding new goodies

I shipped everything home and should get the box tomorrow. I am looking forward to really looking at (and listening to) all of the gifts we received.

I didn't get to meet any of your except for mom2tati (we shared the comfort suites room with her, thank you Ileana!). I am so glad we got to go to Castaway Cay. I think, I am not sure, but I am wondering if Wheelerkidz3 (not even sure if I got that name right) was right in front of us for the photo's. Do you have a little one named Colin???

it was us!! (i do need to change my name on here...it throws people off when it says 3 kids and i show up with 4!!) collin made good friends with the shutter's ladies!! LOL!! we ended up getting email addys from 2 of them....they were so great! (even though he hated having his pics taken on the white background...lol!)

I have never been more glad to be mislead by a CM then I was this back 2 back - The CM was pretty sure we werent going to make it to castaway -

I'm soooooooooo glad we did!!! We had a Cabana booked... the cabana beach as the tide went out was full of sand barges - and have your ever seen so many sea shells on the beach?!?!?!

I have to say, the second cruise went by sooo much faster then the first cruise. And the second cruise was longer!!!

So we rebooked on board for next year!!!!! YES!!!

Thank you everyone for the amazing FE gifts!!! you guys really out did yourselves. Karen and her husband and jeff and his family you soooo went above and beyond!!!! Thank you!!!

I look forward to seeing you all on future posts!!!

So this is it huh!!!! I've been counting down this cruise for so long now - it's hard to believe it's come and gone!!

i could have written your post!! everyone was telling us that there would be no cc either...and then we were sooo happy when capt told us we'd be going!! we screamed!!!!
and i can't believe how fast the 4 day cruise went compared to the 3 day...it made no sense!! way too quickly!!!
we are sad to see it all over now also. it seems you spend so much time with planning and getting ready for it...and then you blink and it's over!!! i hate it!!!

we missed out on meeting many too. my little guy was napping during the 3pm meet...and i did get to see a few in the terminal in between the b2b and also saw a few at the sailaway. i had hoped to run into more of you more frequently, but it seems that the cruise just went too fast.

i did want to say thanks to everyone for the FE gifts too....they were amazing!! funny story about them....i packed most of them into a backpack for our flight home. some were in the carryon suitcase, but i fit alot of them into the backpack. well, apparently, i fit TOO many of them into the bakcpack...cuz it set off the security scan. they pulled the bag and said i had too much stuff jammed into the bag and they had to empty it and send it thru in a few diff batches to check all of it. then i was left with the task of loading my bag back up. it was hard ot fit it all back in there!!! LOL!!! thankfully the security people were really nice about it!!

We got home tonight as well. We are totally spent. Kids were crying - they didnt want to leave. I guess that means the trip was a success.

Today was a bit hectic. I couldnt find the key to the room safe. I had to go thru the already packed luggage and eventually found the key. Then I went to physically check-out (and I never do that). And lo-and-behold, the front desk tells me they have me as being reserved in the room until tomorrow! I had to call DVC and try to get the points back (they were quite fair about it).

Then when we got home it was pouring (sort of like how it was when we left for florida). I went out to get some pizza for a quick dinner (the best pizza places around here dont deliver). After getting the pizza, my truck wouldnt start! DW did come to fetch me. We ate, then I came back to try and jump it - to no avail. So I flagged down a tow truck.

A rough dose of reality.

I think I need to plan another Disney trip.

Time for some sleep!

Also wanted to add, that we went to the DVC presentation and I won the $300 shipboard credit, woohooo, we didn't have to pay a dime on board

It was Amazing and the kindness and thoughtfulness that you all showed toward us was unreal.
My husband was Amazed but the generosity you guys showed to us.
Eden had a blast I will get my pictures in order and post.
She was a running a low grade fever, and fall one time, so we were on edge , but she had an amazing time, truly a DREAM COME TRUE.
cant believe how fast it went by.

You have a beatiful family and a magical princesses it was my pleasure .
and i know everyone else would say the same thing ! it is just like one big happy family

We just got off the Dream yesterday morning from our back to back cruise. The Dream was absolutely beautiful! We are currently still in Cocoa beach until tomorrow and then back to reality.
We want to thank everyone that participated in the FE. The FE were absolutely over the top. The generousity of you DISers is incredible.....my 3 year old daughter has spent the last week taking her new toys every where we have gone. Once again thank you very much for adding magic to my kids cruise
We are booked for a 4 night cruise next August same time on the Dream. Hopefully some of you will be there. For those of you still travelling, safe travels and look forward to seeing some pics from everyone one things go back to normal.

Wow where do I start
OMG everyone was so amazing from day one and it was alot of planning for my first cruise then add to putting together meets and the FE for the first time it added to the excitement . with many thanks to Karin and Tom that helped me with those lists .
Now over the past year and a half talking with all of you up thru the good days and bad days including hamstring tear 9 days before and wife going to hospital the day before for 4 hours stress and this trip went hand and hand .
But i can say say it wa everything and more that everybody has said the table service meals were amazing , castaway cay was amazing wish i could of did more but leg was holding me back even with the medicine . sea day and pirate night and delivering the FE gifts was so much fun . I cannot wait to do this again . And to all my new friends that i have met on the cruise cannot wait to talk to you guys real soon .
And to 2 very Special and Magical people Karin and Tom Thank You for sharing your trip with our family and showing us around and letting us join you for meals made our trip so special words cannot say Thank You Enough .
It was so sad to say goodbye after 4 days . and yesterday after breakfest our family will miss you guys but countdowns are so much fun till we say Hi again
