I like the idea of getting together before the sail away party ?
then how do you guys like these ideas
1. either an ice cream social or a mickey bar eating contest ?
2. i like the idea of getting everyone together for pictures on sea day I will ask while on the ship if they can give us a private area for this ?
fingers crossed i can get photo pass to join in too ??

And as for the pre Dream get together In NYC it has been set how does
7/30/2011 say around 11am just inside the disney store in NYC times square sound to all ?? then it will be off to lunch at the hard rock cafe .

Anyone in the NYC area or anyone that can attend will have an open magical invitation .

I'll be rebooking onboard but it will be for 1 of the NYC cruises next August. I actually already have a ressie for that cruise. I'm just rebooking onboard to reap the benefits. I would have a total of $475 OBC per stateroom if I rebook onboard . Plus the 10% doesn't hurt.

There aren't really any strategies. My TA offers a $275 OBC for the NYC 8-night cruise that can be combined with the $200 that I would receive for rebooking onboard. The OBC received from DCL depends on your CC level and how long the future cruise will be. I copied the following from the FAQs sticky on here:

The following discounts are only offered if you rebook onboard or transfer an existing OBB to a new date in addition to the 10% discount off cruise fare only. Category 11C/old 12s are receiving both 10% and OBC.
Silver.................$100 for 3-6nt cruises.........$200 for 7nt or longer cruises
Gold...................$150 for 3-6nt cruises.........$275 for 7nt or longer cruises
Platinum.............$250 for 3-6nt cruises..........$350 for 7nt or longer cruises

Both ideas are great to me!

Also I checked with Hard Rock and they do not have a "Bypass The Line" benefit at the Times Sq location (fancy way of saying reservation). Maybe we should get a head count before then & I can give them a call to see if they can make any type of arrangements for us if we're a large enough group.

We'd be up for either of these ideas - although I would volunteer to be photographer as I hate having my picture taken!!

I'm up for either or both of the Dream meet ideas. Unfortunatly I live too far away for the NYC meet.

i what you mean buffalo is far but if anything changes the door is always saying you are welcome to join in.

We'd be up for either of these ideas - although I would volunteer to be photographer as I hate having my picture taken!!

Unfortunately we're a little bit too far away to join the NYC meet but I hope you all have a fantastic time.

I know what you mean but i love my picture taking but im always taking the pictures
